Buck was due back at the station the next day after he received the letter. TK still wasn't allowed back to work and Carlos also had a shift. It was weird not having TK at the station, but it wasn't any different than when he was there. TK's mom, Gwyn, had come down from New York to see him and decided to stick around for a little bit so TK wasn't alone all day.

When Buck had walked into the station, he heard Judd yelling at Mateo. For what, Buck did not know. He looked up onto the loft and saw Mateo running away from Judd, trying to hide behind Paul who stepped out of the way. Marjan was laughing her ass off, livestreaming the whole incident to instagram. Judd seemed to be covered in...flour? "Buck, help me! It was an honest mistake!" Mateo yelled when he saw Buck. Buck shook his head and ran up the steps. "Nope, you aren't helping him. He needs to pay for what he did," a flour-covered Judd said. Buck put his hands up and walked over to Marjan.

"So, why is Judd covered in flour?" He asked her. Marjan pointed at the disaster of a kitchen. Paul answered him, "Judd was trying to teach Mateo how to cook and Mateo dropped the bowl. Flour went everywhere, mostly on Judd though. It was hilarious".

Judd finally caught up to Mateo as soon as Owen and Tommy walked up the stairs. Buck, Paul and Marjan had noticed and instantly started towards the kitchen while Judd and Mateo were on the ground. "What is going on here?" Owen asked. Judd quickly got up and turned to Owen, leaving Mateo on the floor. "I hate to ask, but Judd, why are you covered in Flour?" Tommy tried not to laugh, but couldn't help to let it slip. Owen was just staring at the kitchen, where Buck had started to clean up. Judd rubbed the back of his neck, missing when Mateo had quickly scurried off into the kitchen. "I'm not one to pass up on a fun time, but not with the expense of our kitchen."

This caused the rest to laugh while helping Buck clean up. Buck smiled at the interaction between his team. He enjoyed the fun they brought. It helps take his mind off the letter, even during their calls. The team's fun had still kept up.

On one of the calls, Buck had to step out with how much he was trying not to laugh. This elderly woman, Jessablle, had accidentally taken edibles because she thought they were regular cookies. She was spurting out nonsense left and right. It had reminded Buck of the time where the firehouse was given pot brownies and everyone but Chimney had eaten them. That was a hell of a time.

Back to the lady. Buck had walked back inside in enough time to see her flirt with Owen. "I want Mr. Fire Captain to take me, not you." She had blurted out to Tommy. Nancy was trying to hold back her laughter and Tim was shaking his head. Owen helped pick the lady up and guided her onto the stretcher. "I'll see you at the hospital, cutie." She winked at him. Tim and Nancy rolled her out with Tommy following behind. "If I hear any of you saying one word about this..." Owen started before shaking his head. The rest laughed and started to the truck. Buck's phone started to ring. It was Eddie.

"Hey Eds, what's up?"

"You mister, need to tell Christopher why it is not ok to try and worm his way out of school to play video games with your boyfriend."

Everyone could hear what Eddie was saying and looked at Buck. "Wait...Are you saying that TK and Chris have been playing video games together without me? That little... Give the phone to Chris."

"Bucky!"

"Since when did you and TK start playing video games?"

"...when I first met him..."

"And you haven't been playing with me?"

"Oops?"

Judd chuckled and took Buck's phone. "Hey Chris!"

"Judd!"

"What kind of games do you play?"

"Almost any kind, but none with violence. Dad doesn't like it."

A distant Eddie had called for Chris to get ready.

"Listen to your father Chris. If you go to school today, I'll allow TK to play with you, ONLY if you let me in too. Deal?"

"Deal!" The call ended there. Buck let his head fall against the seat and he laughed to himself. God, that kid had him wrapped around his finger. He would give anything for that kid to be happy.

They pulled back into the station and saw TK and Gwyn sitting in the rec room. "Hey everyone!" TK called out. Owen hugged his son, gently of course, and Gwyn. Buck had followed suit and pulled TK into a hug, before backing away with a disappointed look on his face. "Buck?" TK asked.

"You are no longer my favorite."

"What do you mean?"

"You've been playing video games with Chris without me!"

Everyone laughed and TK looked horrified. "Listen...I was going to tell you...But I promised not to tell. He is one hell of a persuader."

Buck just shook his head and went to the kitchen to grab a water bottle. He had an idea.

He grabbed what flour was left and poured it into a bowl, mixing it with water. Buck then started to sneak up on TK while putting his finger to his lips when Mateo noticed him. Buck poured the concoction on TK and his partner shrieked. "Buck what the hell?!" TK was wiping the mixture out of his eyes while throwing it at Buck. "Nope!" Buck sprinted down the stairs while TK followed him, throwing more of the mixture at him. "Get back here asshole!"

Buck ran into the showers and turned on the first one closest to the door, right where TK ran in. "Oh come ON!" TK just stood there, glaring at Buck who was laughing his ass off, and stepped too close. He slid across the room and landed on his ass and it was TK's turn to laugh. "Payback's a bitch, Buckley!" The bell rang. "Enjoy going on the call with wet clothes." Buck mumbled and ran out to the truck.

"What happened to you?" Marjan asked. "I don't want to talk about it." Buck grumbled out. It was going to be a long rest of the shift.
