Buck scheduled a visit to L.A. His therapist thought it was a good idea to go back to the place where most of his trauma took place. Eddie had set up the guest room for him to stay in while TK had begged to come with him. Buck thought it might be a good idea but his therapist told him to go alone for now and he can call TK or Carlos if he needs them. He spent most of the night packing what he would need and triple checking with Eddie that it was ok for him to stay there. It took the combined effort of TK, Carlos and Eddie to reassure Buck and to get him to bed until Eddie brought Chris in to beg Buck with his puppy dog eyes (which Buck totally did not teach him).

By the next morning, Buck was on his way to L.A. with the promise to call the Strands and Carlos once he arrived. Thus began the 18 hour trek to L.A. through traffic and the highways. Buck took as many breaks as he could to prolong going back. The last time he was there, he helped with the Dam break, almost drowned himself after seeing Bobby again, went to court and learned about Daniel.

Maddie.

Buck knew he was forgetting something. She will probably find out that he's back in L.A. The last time she contacted him was to tell him Abby was back. Shit, Abby could be there too. Buck wasn't ready for this. He half wanted to text Eddie and tell him that he was canceling but his therapist wouldn't agree to him doing that. So, Buck did what he usually does, he sucked it up and powered through the rest of the car ride. He pushed the worries back and decided to think about them when he got to L.A.

It wasn't long before he saw the 'Welcome to Los Angeles' sign, meaning he must have spaced out on the drive over. Buck called Eddie and let him know he was about an hour away from the house. The one good thing about coming to L.A. was that he got to see his friends and meet Eddie's girlfriend, Lilian. Eddie talked highly about her a lot and Buck could tell he loved her the same way he (Buck) loved TK and Carlos. Buck was happy Eddie finally started to date again. After Shannon, Buck thought Eddie would have been out of the dating game for longer, perhaps forever.

Buck pulled into Eddie's house where Eddie and Chris were waiting outside. Chris, seeing Buck's jeep, had started to go down the steps as fast as he could with Eddie right behind him. Buck got out and ran over to them. "Hey Superman! Long time, no see. How are you?" He asked, picking Chris up to carry him inside. "Bucky! I'm good. I'm so excited you're staying with us!" Buck laughed and carried Chris all the way to the couch. Eddie came from the kitchen with two cups of coffee in his hands. "Glad you made it safely, Buck. Here, figured you'd be needing something to get your energy up," Eddie said while handing him the cup of coffee. "Thanks Eds. I really did need this. And thank you for letting me stay here for a few weeks".

"Of course, Buck. Anything for a friend. Especially my best friend. Now, tell me how Austin's been since we left." Buck went into full detail on how everything went down, from the letters to the team helping him last week after he fell off of the ladder truck. He kept some details out since Chris was around, but he would fill Eddie in on them later. A few hours passed and Chris and Buck were playing video games when the door opened. "Eddie, is Buck here yet?" A female voice called out. "Yeah Lils. He's in the living room with Chris." Eddie called out. Buck heard footsteps and saw a woman, Lilian, come around the corner. "Hi there! You must be Buck. I'm Lilian, but you can call me Lily. It's a pleasure to meet you." She introduced herself. Buck stood up and went over to shake her hand. "Yep, I'm Buck. Nice to meet you too, Lily. Eddie's told me amazing things about you," Buck replied.

Lily laughed, "Same about you, Buck. We are happy to have you here". Buck nodded and heard the 'Game Over' sound from the T.V. "Chris, did you seriously beat me while I was afk?" Buck dramatically asked. "Oops?" That got both him and Lily to laugh and they both sat down. Buck's phone started to ring and that's when he realized that he forgot to let his partners and Owen know that he had arrived at Eddie's. "Sorry, I've got to take this. I'll be right back." Lily nodded in understanding.
