TWO DAYS LATER
Darcy was about the same. She was stable but still on the same amount of oxygen and medication. It was hard on her little body but she's doing the best she could. Y/n hasn't left her, still in the same clothes she had on. She was afraid to leave her and take a shower incase something happened. Harry and the boys performed a show last night but he was completely out of it. The boys tried their best to cheer him up, but nothing was working. "Come on, Hazza. Little babe will be fine. All babies get sick." Harry was getting aggravated with everyone. "I don't care about other babies Louis I care about MY baby. Like I care about MY Y/n being in a hospital alone with OUR baby while I'm stuck here. I should be with them and helping Y/n. It's not fair to her that she's the only parent there with OUR daughter." Louis knew he was upset so he left him alone. Harry cried before and after the show. No matter how hard he tried he was covered with guilt from leaving Y/n at the hospital alone. He tried to put on an act for the crowd as much as he could. As soon as he got off stage he texted Y/n.
HARRY: How is she
Y/N: About the same. I'm so tired. She's not getting worse but she's also not improving. Her body just can't keep up.
HARRY: I'm so sorry baby. You know I want to be there. I'm trying my hardest to work something out but they're not working with me. They're thinking about letting me have three days. If they don't I'm going to be pissed.
Y/N: Harry it's not your fault. I know you have to be with the band. Believe me I'm not mad and Darcy's not either. She would want you to be on stage. She loves watching you and she will again soon. I hope you can come but if you can't that's okay too. The doctor just walked in I'll let you know what he says.
Y/n sent the message and put down her phone. "Well we have good news and bad news. Bad news is that Darcy's airways still haven't opened up to the capacity they need to be. She's still struggling to breathe. The good news is they are slowly opening so we think within the next week you should be able to leave if all goes as planned. We also determined that she has asthma which makes it hard on her as well. Does anyone in the family have asthma?" Y/n knew of only Harry. "Her father does. He has attacks every once in a while." The doctor was checking Darcy by listening to her lungs. "Well her lungs sound a little clearer so the medication is working. But being only five months old her body is still new at everything. She will be six months old next week, correct?" Y/n shook her head yes. "She should be out of here by then. Hopefully returned back to your husband back on the road." Y/n didn't bother correcting the doctor on the husband part. She was still worried about Darcy. Granted, the medication was working but slowly. She called Harry and told him what was going on. "Next week? That's bullshit. How could she be that sick?" Y/n held Darcy, tubes attached to her. She was eating from Y/n and seemed to be in decent spirits. "The doctor said that she has asthma and that's making it a little harder. Her airways are opening up and her chest sounds a little better. So she's getting better but very slowly." Harry put his head in his hands. She got the asthma from him."Y/n listen I don't know how but I'm coming to the hospital. Thy can do one show without me. I can't stand not seeing you and Darcy." Y/n looked down and sighed. "Okay, but do you think they will let you?" Harry's phone went off as he was on the phone. "I'm about ready to find out the bosses just texted they wanna talk. I'll let you know." Harry and Y/n hung up both being nervous. Y/n started to tear up looking at Darcy connected to all kinds of medications and IVs. She caressed her baby's cheek and gave her a kiss on her nose. "Mommy's sweet little. You're gonna be fine soon. I love you." Y/n continued rocking the baby and she thankfully fell asleep. Y/n put her in her hospital crib and anxiously waited for Harry's call. She called her sister and explained the situation, and her sister wanted to know if she wanted her to come to the hospital. Y/n declined, stating that Harry might be coming and she wouldn't be allowed to stay with Darcy unless she was her parent anyway. Three hours passed and Harry still hasn't called. She figured they said no and he was pissed and upset. "Nurse? I'm going to go down to the cafeteria to get me a snack. Is that okay?" The nurse looked up at her with a smile. "Of course, love. She will be fine until you get back." Y/n stayed in the cafeteria for about half an hour just trying to get her emotions together and eat. This was her first time eating anything in almost a day. She decided on pizza and ate it before she went back up to Darcy. Harry still hadn't called and she was getting worried. "Harry what did they say? Please call me." She hung up the phone and sat in her phone for another moment longer. "I better get back to her. She will wake up soon." Y/n dumped her trash and headed back up to the room where Darcy was. The nurse was nowhere to be found but Darcy's door was open, so Y/n thought she was in there. She walked into the room and Darcy wasn't in her crib. She started to panic when she heard the bathroom door open. "Baby." Y/n turned around and was shocked to see Harry standing in front of her holding Darcy.

A Year to Remember (BOOK 2)
FanfictionThe sequel to You and me and a Baby Makes three shows Harry, Y/n's first year after Darcy is born. I don't like a lot of sad content so there will be no breakups or major fights just like the first ❤️
