OCTOBER
Tour was over and Y/n was so happy about it. Her morning sickness was awful and Darcy was not letting her have a moments rest. She figured she was about eight weeks along at this point. She felt okay but she hadn't went to the doctor yet. Harry and Y/n closed on their house and Harry hired movers to get everything in the house. They saw the house for the first time in person and picked which bedroom was which. The kitchen was massive and so was the bathrooms. Harry walked into the flats kitchen with Darcy on his hip. "You ready to go?" Y/n was a little emotional leaving the place that practically started it all. She was glad to have a home of her own but it was bittersweet. "Yep I'm ready. Let's go." And with that, they closed the door and that chapter of their life.
Darcy was walking now, so Harry let her down in the house to walk around and get used to things. Movers went in and out. Harry also hired people to put up their bed and Darcy's crib for the night. He had so much to do he knew he wouldn't have time. Y/n was sitting in the couch that the movers brought in having some pains in her belly. "What's wrong?" Harry sat next to her with Darcy on her lap. "My stomach hurts I think I'm just hungry." Harry laid back on the couch stood Darcy up. She was all smiles and looking at Y/n. "Hello, my baby girl. What are you doing? You bossing these boys around?" Darcy laughed and went to Y/n and sat in her lap, legs wrapped around Y/n's waist and Y/n's cuddling her. "Let's go eat somewhere. We hardly ever get to as a family, so let's do it. Where do you wanna go?" Y/n had no clue. She knew there were some nice restaurants around but she didn't n is what they were. "You pick baby, you know this area better." Y/n rubbed Harry's back and neck with her free hand. Her hand touched his growing hair. "Either way this growing hair of yours is making me crazy. In a good way. Please let it grow." Harry got up and so did Y/n with Darcy. "Oh I plan on it. I'm not cutting it for a long time." The three went to a nice sit down restaurant with little to no problems from fans. There was a girl who was eyeing Y/n and Darcy, almost disgusted. She didn't tell Harry about it, she didn't want to ruin his good time. Darcy had her own little meal which Y/n and Harry took turns feeding her in her high chair. She was on solids now pretty well, and still had breast milk. The dinner lasted awhile but Y/n wasn't feeling the greatest. This wasn't like her last pregnancy, she knew something was off. "Harry are you ready to go home? I need to lay down." Harry nodded and got some boxes to take home and he grabbed Darcy. "I hate to ask this but can you give her just a little wipe down bath for tonight? She doesn't need an actual one. Especially since we don't have anything unpacked." Harry smiled and held Y/n's hand the whole way home. When they got home Darcy was sleeping and Harry didn't want to wake her up because she's just like him....cranky. He carried her to their bedroom where she had her little bed until they could set her room up the next day. Y/n laid in the couch with her hands in her stomach. Harry came into the living room with his hair half up and sighed. "That little girl is going to give us a run for our money when she's older. I'm sure this baby will too." Y/n moved and put her whole body on Harry, cuddling him. "Baby as much as I like cuddling you I know the difference between a good and a bad cuddle. What's wrong? You've been acting down all evening." Y/n winced with her stomachache. "I don't know my stomach is hurting so bad. It might have been bad food but I'm not sure." Harry held onto Y/n knowing she was hurting. Seeing her hurt made him upset. Y/n got up and decided to go to the bathroom. When she went she noticed blood all over her pants and underwear. She went into shock. "Harry! Harry get in here!" Harry ran into the bathroom and noticed the blood. He started to panic getting in his knees in front of Y/n. "Baby look at me. Look at me. You're going to be fine. Look right HERE Y/N. Stay right here." Her eyes darted all over Harry's face and her whole body shook. Y/n's hands were covered in bright red blood because it was still fresh. She knew it wasn't her period so she feared for the worst. "We have to get you to the hospital. Let's call my mum to watch Darcy." Harry helped Y/n off of the toilet and called his mum in the process. Y/n was sitting on the bed and she overheard Harry talking to Anne. "Mum this was a lot. I'm hoping to god not. I can't handle it. Please get over here." Y/n was terrified she didn't know what to do. Anne got to the house as soon as she could while Harry and Y/n ran out to the car. Y/n didn't say a word, still in shock. She hated blood in any form. Harry raced to the Emergency Room, making it in no time. He helped Y/n in, blood still coming out of her. She was seen almost immediately, running what seemed like thousands of tests. She was still bleeding but not quite as bad. Hours passed and still no doctor. "Hey! My fiancée is bleeding she's pregnant can somebody help her for CHRISTS SAKE!" Harry was pissed that Y/n was sitting in her own blood terrified and they hadn't heard a word. Finally a doctor came in with a file in his hands. "We found the problem. I'm so sorry. You've suffered a miscarriage." Y/n's world fell apart. She turned as white as a ghost and everything the doctor told her went through her. The doctor was talking when she interrupted him. "So my baby is gone? And there's nothing you can do?" The doctor stated yes and Y/n went into hysterics. "Are you fucking kidding me? Let me sit here for hours while my baby was DYING and you didn't do shit? You BASTARD!" Y/n started crying and yelling. Harry went to her but she wanted nothing to do with him. "Get off of me. It's because of you I lost my baby. Get the FUCK out of here." Harry was heartbroken. He never thought Y/n would so speak to him like that. He started tearing up and left the room, the doctor following. "Mr. Styles I'm so sorry. Y/n's body has practically cleaned out any sign of a pregnancy since she was so early along. Please just be there for her. She doesn't mean anything she's saying. She feels hurt and destroyed. She will become distant but don't leave her alone for awhile when you go home. Do you have any other children?" Harry looked at the doctor, tears in his eyes. "We have a daughter. She'll be one next month." The doctor looked down and sighed. "It's best to not let your daughter see her mother this way for a few days. Y/n is incredibly vulnerable right now. I know you both are at a loss for words. I'll write up the paperwork for you to take her home. Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss." Harry was left standing outside of the room with a tear in his eye. The longer he stood the farther the tear went down his face and hit the floor. He could hear Y/n crying in the room and went to check on her. "Y/n?" She looked up, face red with anger and sadness. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I can't give you another baby. I'm useless." Harry went to her and grabbed her hands. "Never and I mean never think that. We will have another baby someday. This happens. We will try again someday. Baby it's not your fault. It's not my fault. It's nobody's fault." Y/n starting bawling reaching for Harry. He went to her, kissing her forehead and rocking her. She was hurt, so was Harry. Y/n got all cleaned up with help from Harry. She didn't want anyone else touching her. She was in ruins and didn't know how she could go on.
The couple returned home and Darcy wanted Y/n. But Y/n ignored her as if she didn't want anything to do with her. She was too depressed and hurt to notice anything. Harry tried to play with her and hold her but she wanted Y/n. "Mum why don't you keep Darcy for a few days? I need to make sure Y/n is safe." Harry gave Darcy a hug and sent her off with Anne. Y/n got in the shower and Harry helped her. She felt disgusted with herself. She felt if she couldn't carry a baby what good was she? She was weak from blood loss Harry held her up some. When they went to bed Harry tried to cuddle her but she scooted away from him. He didn't get upset because he knew she wasn't herself. The next day she was the same. She sat in bed all day staring at the blankets while Harry tried to unpack some things. He asked if she wanted to help but she just shook her head. The only time she did anything was to go to the bathroom. Physically, her body was healing but her heart wasn't. She didn't care how far she was. She lost some thing that was important to her. She couldn't imagine if she'd lost Darcy. Her life was in ruins and she felt as if Harry blamed her for everything. She started to cry and she threw a vase in her side of the bed. Harry came in running, afraid Y/n had tried to do something she shouldn't. He ran to her and she tried to fight him. "Get off of me! You don't love me anymore. I lost our BABY! I'm FUCKING USELESS!" Harry calmed her down and she broke in his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I lost our baby. You wanted this so bad and I couldn't give it to you. I would have been nine weeks today." Harry hugged her as if it was the last thing he would ever do. "Shhh shhh. I never have nor will I ever blame you. Never. It's not your fault, do you hear me?" Harry grabbed Y/n's face and held it. "Listen to me. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT." Y/n nodded her head and snuggled into Harry. "How have you not cried? I haven't seen you get upset once." Harry rubbed her back and smiled a little. "I have been. I just didn't want you to see it. I've cried just as much as you have." Y/n smiled and put her face into Harry chest. "I love you. I'm sor-." Harry put his finger on her lip and shook his head. "There is no reason to be sorry. It will happen. We will have a other baby. If not now. Later on." Y/n snuggled more into Harry's side and slowly fell asleep.
The next morning Darcy would be home. Harry went and got her, along with Y/n something to eat. Darcy came running into the bedroom, arms open for Y/n. "Mummy!" Y/n smiled and met Darcy in. She smelled like lavender and Y/n hugged her as close as she could. "I love you." Darcy gave Y/n kisses all over her face. Darcy made Y/n feel a little better so that was a plus. She started to realize everything happens for a reason. This baby wasn't meant to be, and that was okay. Emotionally, her and Harry still have a long way to go.
