Chapter 06: White hair and no mask

"Bro I'm telling you!"
"Lo'ak that's literally impossible, there's no way," Spider chuckles leaning against his family's tent as Neteyam rested inside after the blow he got from the explosion. "Also, Ki'rrëy is like your dad's pet, he wouldn't just willingly help out a sky person."
"All that smoke probably got to your head." Kiri comments, finishing in applying some ointments to Lo'aks wounds. Luckily there weren't many.
Lo'ak groaned in frustration.
"I know what I saw, alright?!" Lo'ak's tone grew louder and harsher as he threw his arms up in frustration. The other two widen their eyes at his frustration to get them to believe in him."It was a human girl with some strange homemade armor suit, and she was breathing without a mask!"
"Maybe she's just able to hold her breath really well." Kiri jokes, but her brother really wasn't having it.
"Do you hear yourself?! You're suggesting that she was holding her breath in the middle of the war-?!"
"Stop yelling it was just a joke!" Kiri shot back at him with a harsher glare.
Spider looks back at the two siblings and awkwardly shifts in his seat. "Well then, your dad is still really pissed at you for leaving your position during a... pretty much deadly battle without permission."
"And for getting Neteyam hurt," Kiri added, receiving a scowl from her brother. Although he immediately winced when she put too much pressure on a wound to warn him that she still had the upper hand.
"But we could just go to the lab and ask Max and Norm what they think of it." The other continued.
Kiri widens her eyes in delight and jumps to agree with the idea. "I agree! Let's go to the lab, it's been a while since I've seen my mom as well."
After Kiri finished patching up Lo'ak, the three stood up and started walking away from the tent. The youngest Sully boy took one last look at Neteyam, who was forced to rest at home by their grandma. Neteyam stared into space as he held a sleeping Tuk, who had entered the tent earlier to keep him company throughout the ordeal. She claimed she'd keep him entertained the entire time so he could recover quickly, but seemed to have ended up falling asleep herself. Lo'ak sighed before turning back to follow the others.
Spider led the trio straight to the avatar zone, to where the man they'd been looking for would most probably be at.
The three entered the area and passed by the 'No Na'vi' sign like it wasn't in the boldest letters they'd ever seen. Spider being in the front, began looking around for any sign of the scientists who had raised him like he was their own.
