(Cassi POV)
She heard birds chirping from outside. It was a soothing sound to wake up to
What wasn't peaceful was hearing the heavy curtains being jerked open and the sun blinding her barely open eyes. She jumped up in a sitting position. A maid was opening all the curtains. She suddenly turned and looked at Cassi.
'Good morning your majesties. Breakfast will be served in fifteen minutes.' Then she left.
It wasn't until she said your majesties that Cassi became aware that a heavy arm was around her waist. She saw James open his eyes and look right at her. He blinked sleepily and smiled.
Damn! He even looked good in the morning with tousled hair and sleep heavy eyes. His dark stubble that grew made him look even more appealing.
'Good morning, love.' He levered himself up on his arms and then leaned toward her. Before she knew what he was doing he kissed her softly on the lips.
'Good morning.' She mumbled. Suddenly feeling shy.
'Are you ready to start your day?'
Mornings were not her best. She curbed her tongue when she really badly wanted to ask if she had a choice.
'Yes.'
'Good. I assume you need the bathroom. I'll give you a few moments. Then you need to dress. Well be having breakfast downstairs with the pack.'
Her eyebrows went up. 'Pack?'
He moved to get out of bed. The sunlight put shadows and enhanced some other parts on his body in every perfect way. She forgot what she just asked. She watched him turn to get coffee. Her eyes were glued to him.
'Yes. I think you need to get acquainted as soon as possible with them. They are your pack now too. As well as you being their queen. How do you take your coffee?' He turned and after a few seconds sent her a smirk.
'See anything you want?'
She looked up at his face. Her face suddenly became hot. 'What? Sorry.'
His smile grew.
'Your coffee. How do you take it?'
'Oh...um, black. Two sugars, please.' He came over and handed her a cup.
She sipped at it and avoided his eyes. Embarrassed she got caught staring.
She was about to set the cup down, and make a break for it, when his hand gripped her chin. Turning her face to him slowly he smiled at her.
'You can look. It's okay. I more then encourage it.'
She didn't know her face could feel like lava. Dropping her eyes she took off to the bathroom. Splashing water on her face and taking a deep breath she calmed herself down.
A new red toothbrush and other toiletries were laid out on the sink. She used the bathroom then buising herself she flossed and brushed her teeth. Putting her hair in a ponytail she was ready to face him again.
He was already dressed in Jean's and a gray t-shirt. A t-shirt that left little to the imagination. It defined his pecs and six pack perfectly.
'I take it the outfit meets with your approval?'
Shaking her head mentally she cleared her throat.
'I don't have anything to wear.'
'Yes you do. Before you arrived yesterday I took the liberty of having things bought for you. They're are all in that closet behind you.'
