"What was it like, (Y/N), being in another universe?" Risotto suddenly spoke up, his deep voice cutting through the side chatter and various conversations that had branched off during the couple of hours you all talked for.
"Oh, well..." You had spent most of the time listening to the others, an attempt to make up for the seven years of lost time. So you hadn't brought up much about yourself. "It wasn't anything too drastically different ours, except for it being in a different time period. The weirdest thing was seeing all these people who felt like altered or blended versions of people from this universe."
Formaggio pointed at himself. "You saying there was, like, another me waltzing around?"
"Or... another you?" Inquired Melone. Two (Y/N)'s? Some not safe for work ideas were already beginning to flood his mind.
"The other me was already dead. It was mostly people I've met during the earlier years of my life, like Jonathan and Dire. Though I guess there were versions of Jean and Noriaki, as well as someone named Avdol."
"Avdol?" This had peaked Polnareff's interest. "Is he still alive in that universe?"
"I'm... not sure." You tried to think back. Trying to recall if you had seen any newspapers that mentioned his demise. "He was out of the race pretty early on, and might've been trampled when he got knocked from his camel."
Polnareff covered his mouth with one hand. "Oh... Wow."
"If the others were there, then what about my dad?" Asked Jolyne, wondering if Jotaro could at least be alive in the place you had been.
You shook your head. "I didn't see anyone like him. And the Joestar bloodline is still at Jonathan. It might be at least a good century before someone like him shows up over there." Your gaze shifted to Kakyoin. "But going back to the race, you wouldn't have happened to have developed some kind of psychic abilities, would you, Noriaki?"
"Hm?" Kakyoin raised an eyebrow. "No? At least, I don't think so. Why do you ask?"
"It's just that your game, Metal Sphere Sprint, actually has a fair amount of similarities to the race I participated in, The Steel Ball Run."
"Now that you mention it..." Hermés decided to add her own two cents, having tried out Kakyoin's games once or twice. "His other one, Rock Water, was pretty similar to the time we spent in prison as well as our breakout."
Okuyasu leaned back on the couch. "Yo, that's pretty weird. What are the chances?"
"I don't know what to say." Admitted Kakyoin. He didn't feel like he could see the future or anything of the sort. Perhaps it was all just a bizarre coincidence.
"Regardless, you made some good friends while over there, I hope?" Though Bruno seemed to be implying a little bit more with his question. Some kind of assurance that you were okay, or that you had found someone else.
You grave brief nod, now thinking back to Johnny and Gyro. "Yeah, I did." Just how long it would last for was another question.
Giorno watched you carefully, able to pick up on what you meant. So you had started seeing someone else.
For the next chunk of time, you continued filling them in on the Steel Ball Run and the various people and Stands you encountered during it. You also shared some of the pictures you had taken while over there. Kars jumped in every now and then with his own insight. After answering a few of their questions, the lot of you decided it was about time to call it a day. The call ended with plenty of goodbyes and promises to meet again in person.
You shut down the laptop and closed it, glancing to the windows. It was nearly nighttime again. The sun was in the midst of setting. You hadn't intended for the call to go on for so long, but you were by no means complaining about it. "Thanks again for coming over. It was great seeing you all again."
