As tempting as it was, you had to stop yourself jabbing the blade into Joshu's eye.

"Hey! You three!" Norisuke shouted from down the hall. "What're you doing over there?!"

You promptly hid the blade behind your back, before he could see you threatening his son, and maintained a neutral expression. You didn't want to get on Norisuke's bad side just yet. Although, based on how he acted toward Joshu, you still weren't sure if he liked him all that much, either.

Joshu stared at you. He couldn't believe you were so worried that he might hurt himself with his own knife! Sure, it was a bit annoying that you had taken it, but he still found it kind of... cute. He slowly shifted his attention to his father. "Josuke here tried to swipe some money from my shirt!"

"What?" Josuke couldn't believe Joshu still didn't understand.

Norisuke waited for your input, finding you to probably be the most reasonable of the bunch.

"Gappy didn't steal it. He was sorting the laundry and happened to see money had been left inside Joshu's shirt. There was no intent to keep it." You stuck with the truth.

Norisuke slung an arm around his son's shoulder while grabbing the bill from Josuke's hand. "Come here a minute, Joshu. Here. Look closely." He held it up to his son's face. "This bill is more crinkled than normal, isn't it? It's a sign of being wet and then dried. You must've left it in your wallet and it accidentally got washed."

"Dad, do you not believe what I saw?" He couldn't believe his own father wasn't willing to take his side.

"That's not it! What I'm seeing is the truth. But I told you, didn't I...? Get along with Josuke."

"What?! Why'd you take that guy we know nothing about into this house? I don't like it!" Of course, Joshu thought your presence wasn't an issue.

"Don't embarrass your dad. That's enough. Go!" He shooed Joshu away.

Joshu grit his teeth and aggressively stormed off.

"Josuke, it was just a little misunderstanding." Norisuke placed a hand on Gappy's upper back, leading him over to the kitchen. "By the way, I don't know how much of an education you have. We'd better think about you going to school soon. And (Y/N)..." He tried to think of how to ask this without the others cluing in on your immortality. "I know you're... but do you still...?"

"I'm not going to go to school again." You wanted to make it very clear. There was no reason for you to attend and you did not want to get trampled by the mob of fan girls that would surely spawn. Gappy would have to fend for himself.

Daiya let out a high pitched squeal. "Josuke's going to school!" She enthusiastically clapped her hands together. "High school? College? It'd be nice if he went to the same school as me. But if he's just starting, maybe it'd be elementary school." She burst out laughing, just imagining it. "Elementary schooler! Elementary schooler!"

Norisuke had crouched by his daughter, tickling her. "Maybe you should go to elementary school again. My cute little puffy-chan! Coochie-coo!"

"We're going." Hato and Joshu went out the front door, deciding it was time to leave.

"Okay." Responded Norisuke. "I guess I should get to work."
