You pulled off your blanket and walked over to the window to find out the cause of the noise, hoping it might just be a tree branch or something. You rubbed at your eyes, still groggy from being woken up.
"Giorno...?"
The man stood still for a moment, looking you up and down as he finally saw you before himself once more. His Stand gave the window another tap, this time making it peel away into several dark, green vines speckled with the occasional flower.
The Giovanna just hopped on over the window sill and into your room, careful not to dirty the suit he was wearing. "I hope you don't mind." The plants reformed back into the window. "I just couldn't wait to see you in person again." His arms snaked around you and he took in a deep breath.
As he finally pulled away, you took a closer look at his appearance. Or at least what you could make out in the dark. He was a little more haggard, but other than that, about the same. Perhaps Santana was right. "Have you been learning..."
"Hamon?" Finished Giorno, clearly pleased you had noticed. "Yes. As someone who is partially a Joestar, I seem to have a certain knack for it." He held up a hand, yellow sparks dancing along between his fingers. "If it helps me live longer, it's worth it. Plus," His eyes narrowed ever so slightly, appearing to look behind you. "It'll be useful to have just in case I need it. Not everything needs to be thrown into an infinite death loop."
"Did the others come with you?" You hoped you didn't sound too concerned about the idea.
"My brothers stayed back in the hotel."
"And Anasui?"
"Aww." Anasui emerged from the darkness behind you. "You must really miss me, (Y/N)." His chest pressed against your back, his hands caressing along your side. He was currently ignoring Giorno's glare.
You froze in place, wondering how long he had actually been in your room for. Something was also off about Anasui, more than usual. His skin was completely cold to the touch and his grip was much stronger, too. And, as his teeth grazed against your neck, his canines felt abnormally sharp.
"Anasui..." Giorno's voice had a warning tone and his darkened expression was drastically different from the one he wore while speaking to you. "I only let you come with me because you promised to behave. If you're going to be a problem, consider your days numbered."
Anasui took a step away from you. Even he wasn't dumb enough to start a fight with Giorno. So he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall.
You watched the pink haired man warily. He was paler than you remembered and he kept running his tongue over his teeth as if he still wasn't quite used to how they fit in his mouth. The way he looked around your room suggested he had no problems seeing amidst the darkness.
"Weren't all the stone masks destroyed?" You asked, mostly to yourself.
"But not all the vampires were killed." Replied Giorno.
Your eyes widened ever so slightly. "Nukesaku."
Anasui smiled, showing his fangs. "Yeah. That short vampire guy from prison. It took some time to track him down and a little persuasion to get him to comply, but everything worked out in the end." He wasn't sure how long it would take for you to return, so he had just wanted to be on the safe side. The goal had always been to spend eternity together, anyway.
You tugged on Giorno's sleeve pulling him a little closer as you whispered under your breath through gritted teeth. "Seriously. Why did you let him out?"
"He's the don of Passione." Anasui had heard you perfectly well, his hearing having become more astute after his transformation. "He can't be expected to do his own dirty work, especially when he's trying to keep it a secret from his gang. He also wouldn't want to endanger the lives of his brothers, so who better to push it onto but a known criminal? Someone he finds disposable?"
