"That bastard!" Gappy dashed into the room, ready to climb up the vent and fight the guy who had destroyed your scarf.

He knew what it was like to feel alone. No former friends or family had visited him in the hospital and no one seemed to be looking for him unless they wanted to kill him. But, meeting you and Yasuho had helped ease that loneliness. He couldn't just sit back and watch you lose some of the only people capable of sticking by you throughout your long life.

Gappy probably looked angrier than you did.

You were picking up the scraps of Dio's scarf, your gaze cold. You had assumed at least one of the things would get damaged in some way. He still had your gloves, too. Out of all the people your Stand could become, Dio and Valentine were probably the ones you liked the least. So, getting Wamuu's ring back had been your priority.

You clenched your fist so hard that your nails cut into the palm of your hand. With all the shit Dio had put you through during your life, you hadn't expected to care that much upon finding his scarf in smithereens. You had even destroyed it yourself before. But more than a century had gone by since then. The situation was a little different now.

Dio had actually been trying to change this time around. And, he had never quite been the same since his sons' deaths. You had grown more comfortable around him than you had realized. As much as you would like not to care, perhaps it was simply difficult for you to truly despise someone you had known for so long. Regardless, he'd be stuck in the void room until you found a way to fix it.

"Wait, Josuke!" Shouted Norisuke, trying to stop the guy from rushing into things. "Don't go after him!"

"This guy!" Shouted Gappy. "I know he has some sort of grudge against me! But I'm the one who can't forgive him! He got (Y/N) involved... I can't forgive him for destroying your things like this!" He cupped your hands that were still full of scarf pieces. "What if he goes to the house and gets your other things?! He already has your gloves! You could lose all of them..." He was starting to get sad just thinking about it. "You could be alone for eternity..."

You nodded numbly before looking up at Wamuu. If not for him and the others, you likely would've given up on existing a long time ago. They and Santana had been the only ones keeping you going.

"No!" Interjected Norisuke. "I'm not saying to not fight him. I just meant stop so I can track him with my Stand." The humanoid accumulation of puzzle pieces took form behind him. "I'll follow him. Get out of the way!" He marched into the center of the room. "He came in from the air vent without us noticing and left those scraps. Considering we can't see him, the enemy is a very daunting threat! But I'll be able to use you, (Y/N), to track him down."

"Whatever you need to do." You were ready for this fight to be over with.

"There's no escaping it. I'll tell you guys the nature of my Stand, King Nothing." Norisuke had a bunch of the puzzle pieces float around you. "It can see smells. It is a long distance type. It has no physical power." The Stand took its humanoid form again, beginning to walk up the walls. "However, I can use it to track down the gloves of yours that he should be in possession of. Pursue!" His Stand slipped through the vent, making its way above ground.

Gappy and Norisuke started running back up the steps to the hatch. You decided to follow after them.

"W-Wait! You're gonna go outside?!" The only person Tsurugi was completely fine with getting killed was Josuke. He definitely didn't want his grandpa dead. "Don't go out the hatch! He's sure to get you there! I don't know anything about what form he's taking or anything about who he is! All he wants is Josuke, right?! Why are you putting yourself in danger, grandpa?"
