Joshu stared down at you, realizing he had pinned you to the floor when he fell in. The cup he had been using to try and listen in on the conversation was now rolling on the floor next to him. "I... uh..." He gulped loudly as his eyes scanned your body.

Gappy stood up from his seat on the bed. "Get off of her." He already didn't like Joshu very much and the man's behavior toward you and Yasuho didn't help his case.

"All right! Geez!" He scrambled to his feet, pissed that Josuke was ruining the moment you were having with him. "I was just told to tell you that dinner's ready. That's all!"

"Right..." You dusted yourself off, not believing Joshu for a second. How long had he been there and how much had he heard? As far as you could tell, he couldn't see the Pillar Man. So if he wasn't a Stand user, then he couldn't have heard much. Wamuu had been doing most of the talking, after all.

Nevertheless, you and Gappy followed him to the kitchen. To Joshu's embarrassment, dinner was, in fact, not ready yet. The maid informed you that it would still be another ten minutes.

After waiting it out and eventually enjoying your first meal in the Higashikata house, everyone split off in their own direction. You went to your room.

"That went fairly well, I think." You were speaking to Wamuu.

"Indeed." Agreed the Pillar Man. "The one called Josuke seemed to take the information smoothly." He was glad the man had not freaked out or anything.

You zipped open your suitcase, beginning the process of putting away or hanging up the clothes you had brought with you. "Wamuu, do you think it would be safe for Yoshikage to be near Gappy? Even though the Yoshikage of this universe is dead, for whatever reason Gappy's DNA is incredibly similar to his. Either way, I don't want him to have to be confined to the void room for the majority of this trip."

"We could always test it." He suggested as he assisted you in unpacking. "If you start off far away and slowly get closer, you can pay attention for if they start to break apart."

"That's true... Though it kinda depends on how fast the whole process is." You pulled a book out of your bag and proceeded to take a seat on the comfy chair in the corner of your room. The book was one the volumes of Pink Dark Boy. You did a full read through of the series once every few years, mostly for nostalgia's sake. A lot of the content had been 'inspired' by your life, after all.

On a similar note, you had heard that Rohan Kishibe also existed in the SBR verse. You had yet to decide what to do with this information. It would probably be best to leave him be.

Wamuu rested an arm on the chair's backrest, silently reading the manga from over your shoulder. Well, perhaps he was focusing more on you than the book itself. It made him glad to see you even a smidge more happy. He truly hoped it would last.

...

"(Y/N). (Y/N). Get up." Narancia poked at your face, trying to get you to wake up. About four days had passed since your arrival at the Higashikata mansion. "Good morning!" He was grinning from ear to ear. The constant child-like joy that apparently never stopped radiating from him nearly shined brighter than the sun itself.

"Nara?" You checked your phone for the time because it simply felt too early. "It's only five thirty."

"But don't you smell it? Someone's already cooking breakfast!" He gripped you by the shoulders, trying to make you understand how serious this was. "It'd be weird if I just zoomed in there and stole a plate." While he didn't necessarily get hungry, that didn't mean the smell of delicious food wasn't any less enticing. "Not that I'm asking you to take one for me. If you could just give me a few eggs, that'd be great! Yoshikage says that if I get some, he'll be able to whip something up for me!"
