I was astonished that she actually spoke to me nonetheless I waited for her like she asked.
She got a bag of medicine. I could see that there were bandages which meant she was trying to treat herself. I pretended not to notice anything.
"Thanks for waiting.",she said.
"Sure no problem." Trying to act cool was so hard. What if I mess up. Maybe it was better when she just ignored me.
"You left the cafe early today. Almost as if you were in a rush."
"I was in a rush. I had an emergency at home."
"Did you take care of it?"
"Yea I guess you could say that."
"Oh, would you like to go to the beach with me?"
"Sure why not who doesn't love the beach."
