Ella's table was kind of fun. This was the table for all the so called cool kids.
I never imagined I'd be sitting here.
James, Lee and Robby were so happy for the invite. I had a feeling James was even happier.
He wanted to sit next to Ella so I pretended to go to the restroom, to give him time to sit next to her and possibly make his move.
I looked at my watch and noticed that five minutes had passed so I went back to the table.
Fortunately James was now sitting next to his crush and I was happy for him. I sat at his previous place and started eating.
Not long after that I heard someone tell me to scooch over to give them space to sit next to me.
I did it then I slightly turned my head to see who it was.
It was Ella. I thought she was supposed to be sitting with James. Why did she change seats? Maybe she just had a habit of changing seats.
Everyone else at the table was talking and laughing but James, Ella and I were mute.
I could feel Ella casual staring at me but I never dared to look back. If I did I would be forced to talk to her which would be even more awkward as I had nothing to say.
The three of us just ate our lunch in silence which wasn't as bad as it sounds. At least not for me.
