I felt so lucky since Miya and I were friends, or classmates like she said, that I wanted to try something risky.
This Saturday there would be a festival in the outskirts of town so I thought I might ask Miya to join me.
"Are are you crazy or something?" James scolds me."You can't be friends with her one day and then want to take her on dates the next. She might get scared and runaway"
James had a very good point especially since Miya wasn't use to having friends. But I'm feeling way too lucky to even think about the consequences.
Miya started sitting with James and I during lunch.
James felt left out for the first few days so he decided to bring a couple of other friends to the table.
I really didn't mind as long Miya was comfortable and only talking to me. Was that selfish of me? Yes it was. But it's not like she wanted to talk to anyone else.
On Saturday Miya, James and I went to the festival. We were also accompanied by Robby and Lee. They were James's friends, I knew them both but we weren't really close.
