The last two weeks went by so fast. Miya started visiting my mom often, she would always bring along something for her. Sometimes it was food and other times it was a dress or shoes.
I had a job and I still couldn't afford half of that stuff, there really was a significant difference between Miya's financial state and mine.
Mom was so happy, it's amazing what money can do.
....Miya and I would go for walks during the weekends and I found out that she was actually a chatter box.
We spent so much time together that people started assuming we were dating. If only that were the case. Sadly I knew that Miya only spent that much time with me to get away from her house. She could never possibly like me, or even view me as more than a friend. Will she ever be mine?
