“Hey Ella make sure you come to my party and bring Max” a senior said to Ella.
I'm surprised that even seniors knew me. There was no way I could miss this party.
Unfortunately there was one problem...
I couldn't go with the same clothes I wore last weekend because everyone saw me plus all these kids are rich, I don't want to look like the poor kid among them.
I went to town after school and bought myself two shirts and one ripped denim.
The amount of money I had left wasn't looking good but maybe I wouldn't have to buy Mom her medicine this month.
I mean, what's one month gonna do? It surely can't hurt right?
On Wednesday after school I finished my shift at work, changed into my new clothes and went straight to the party.
This time the party was a little closer so there wasn't much to worry about.
The minute I walked into the gates of the yard, Ella pulled up with her sparkly black Mercedes Benz.
I was impressed and wondered how many other things she might have.
