I arrived at the party and to my surprise, Ella's house was packed with people. My anxiety shot up thus I was right about to turn around and leave when Ella came to me.
She smiled at me and shoved a glass in my hands. It was filled with alcohol which I had never tasted or even dreamed of tasting. I wanted to refuse and to tell her I don't drink but she draged me to her group of friends where she spoke and laughed.
She kept on talking and laughing while I stood mute not knowing what to say. It was a really awkward standing there quietly while everyone else chirped away.
“You haven't finished your cup?” Ella finally turned her attention to me.
Everyone else turned to me and I could feel the pressure. Without a word I drank the alcohol in my cup.
A few minutes later I finished that cup and Ella gave me another one. She kept o doing this while I just kept drinking whatever she gave me. I realized that I was drink two different alcohols because the taste changed at some point.
Ella asked me if I wanted to dance and I agreed but little did I know that would be my biggest mistake.
