Miya was at school the next day so invited her to Ella's table.
Ella didn't seem to like Miya but I wasn't going to abandon Miya just because of Ella.
Miya didn't want to sit there at first but she reluctantly agreed in the end.
She didn't have bruises again. So I wonder why she wasn't at school yesterday.
I tried asking her during lunch but Ella just kept asking me questions which I had to answer. Ella didn't even talk to anyone else.
James looked sad at first but then he just started talking to Lee and Robby. Miya would even join their conversation a little and then just stay quiet again.
Nonetheless I was happy she was getting use to everyone and talking.
I really wanted to join their conversation but Ella just kept asking me random questions.
I wonder why she's interested in me all of a sudden. Didn't she transfer to my class for Ryan. And why wasn't Ryan doing anything about this. Wasn't he her boyfriend or something.
After school I walked home with Miya. Finally some alone time.
"Max?" Miya said looking up at me.
"Yea" I responded.
"Why did we leave our table? Why do we have to sit with Ryan and Ella. Didn't you and Ryan have a fight? And isn't Ella Ryan's girlfriend?"Miya asked.
I was so surprised she knew about Ella dating Ryan. I wasn't even sure of the matter and here she was knowing all the facts.
"Ella invited us and she's not as bad as she seems." I responded.
