Miya had forgiven me. Now it was only James which was going to be really hard.
He came to work but he didn't say anything to me.
“James can we talk?” I asked
“About what? You being innocent and not having done anything wrong?”
“No, you were right. I was wrong. I knew you liked Ella and I still kissed her. You helped me so much. Miya, work, school. You did it all. I'm really sorry and for what's it's worth she never really liked me. She was only using me to get Ryan back”
“That seems harsh and it also seems like a fair punishment so I forgive you.”
“Thanks man. I know the school year is almost over but I promise to make it up to you next year. Both you and Miya”
“Umm don't you know? Miya's leaving town.”
“What do you mean?”
“She's leaving you won't see her again. She really changed though. She started talking to us and having fun. She even started dancing and going to the arcade.”
