Miya and I walked to her house and I was surprised to see how close it was to the school. What was more surprising was the size of her house, it was gigantic.

Someone opened the gate for us and I was sure it was her brother or uncle but turns out it's just the butler.

Everything about her house reeks of luxury.

Inside, a maid brought us tea and biscuits. It was delicious but that got me thinking; if Miya is so rich and has a maid who is able to make her tea why go to the cafe. I'm a 100% sure her maid can make better Americano than me.

So why was Miya coming to the cafe?

Was she hiding from something?

"Are you comfortable?" She asked.

"Yea I am but hey can I ask you something?"

She nodded

"The other day at the beach we spoke, I thought we were friends but then you ghosted me the next day. Why is that?"

"Oh, to be honest I'm not really use to having friends." she said.

"Okay."

So Miya isn't use to having friends. No wonder she's bad at keeping a conversation going. She's even terrible at small talk but is it really possible that a 17 year old has never had friends.

During the past few weeks Miya became a mystery that I was slowly unwrapping.

You could even call me detective Max.
