He walked, followed by Eisai. "The reason is for you to tell me I'm forbidden to use it."

"You can use it as much as you want but staying in the past or the future is forbidden."

"Why?! Time-traveling is an advantage!" Eisai paused for a moment, trying to arrange his thoughts. "Like... preventing something terrible from happening or to travel to the future to know what will make the present better."

Nebuaui stopped and turned to face Eisai's confused face. He looked directly into his eyes. "No!" Eisai took a step back. "Time travel doesn't give you the right to change the nature of time." he pointed at Eisai in anger. "You cannot change time or destiny and even if you tried; it will always find its way to fix itself."

"What is the point of having this ability, then?"

"It's up to you; it could be your salvation or your destruction." Nebuaui walked again and Eisai followed him. They went back to the room they were in minutes before.

Eisai was quiet; thinking about what Nebuaui told him, scared that his abilities would destroy him. He had many questions burning his head, yet he said nothing.

Nebuaui told Eisai to sit until he poured something for them to drink. The table with the drinks and golden-colored cups was on the left side of the room. Eisai watched Nebuaui until he finished and sat across to him. He handed Eisai his cup. "What is this?"

"A magical drink," Nebuaui said and took a sip of his cup. Eisai took a sip; he cringed at first and by the second sip the taste became much stronger and taster, and he ended up liking it.

Nebuaui eyed him as he drank, his face was blank, yet his stare was intense.

It was clear in Eisai's face that he was curious; he wanted to ask hundreds of questions but didn't know where to start. "Ask me whatever you want," Nebuaui said with no emotion on his face. He looked and sounded like he knew exactly what Eisai was thinking about.

"Why am I forbidden to do anything with my ability?! It makes little sense. Why do I have this power if I cannot use it to change anything?" Eisai said and then took another sip from his drink.

"Being gifted with any kind of ability does not make you invincible; it helps you to see the world from a different perspective and gives you the chance to help others and be a better person," Nebuaui said.

"Exactly, If I have the chance to travel back in time to change anything terrible, I can help people have a better future or travel to the future to bring back greater knowledge that would also lead to a much better future," Eisai explained with a gravelly voice.

"As powerful, as you think you are, it does not work this way. We cannot mess up things in our world, like time and destiny. You do not have the power to change destiny, no matter how hard you try."

"Why not?!" Eisai put his cup on the floor angrily and looked into Nebuaui's eyes, waiting for an answer to calm his rising anger.

"It is not your job to do so, meddling in the unknown is a stupid act that will always create mistakes."

Eisai took a loud breath and stood up, looking impatient. "No! I have this power for a reason," he said, his thoughts getting louder inside his head. He couldn't accept the fact that his power was a passive one. Couldn't use it to change anything. Just to watch and learn.

He started walking back and forth in the room nervous, his mind was in a race. Somehow, he knew that Nebuaui was right, but his heart wanted to take the risks. He looked at Nebuaui and fixed his eyes on him. "What would happen if I tried to change anything?"

Nebuaui went to the table to pour another glass for himself. "Chaos," Nebuaui said without looking at Eisai, who was standing right behind him. "You cannot mess up with time. It will always find its way to fix itself, no matter how much you try."

Nebuaui took a sip and said, "Every time you try to alter the nature of time or destiny; you won't be the only one paying the price." Eisai wasn't paying attention to Nebuaui at all. He looked at another table in the room. It had a bunch of papyrus on it. He quickly grabbed some of them and hid them in his pocket. Nebuaui turned and looked at him deeply, then said, "Do you have any other question?"

"Why do I have this great power if I cannot do anything with it?" Eisai asked and looked away, avoiding Nebuaui's firm eyes.

"You can do great things."

Eisai smirked and said, "Like what?"

"Finding your truth," Nebuaui said and took a sip of his drink.

"What do you mean?" Eisai looked at him again.

"I can't tell you everything."

Eisai looked more confused. "I traveled back in time for you to tell me about your nation's history and that I cannot use my power and when you finally said something important; you decided not to say anything further," Eisai shouted.

"It is your path, not mine; Figure it out by yourself."

"You cannot do this! Tell me what you know..." Eisai suddenly stopped when Nebuaui put the cup harshly on the table without moving his eyes from Eisai's face.

"That's enough." Nebuaui walked to the middle of the room, then raised his right hand and created blue strings in a circle shape. Before Eisai could say any other word, Nebuaui put his left hand on his right one. A sudden vibration happened, and the circle turned into a strong white light that Eisai had to cover his face, avoiding.

In the blink of an eye, Eisai got absorbed inside the white light circle and felt like all air vanished from his lungs. The white light was getting brighter with Eisai fighting to breathe. Nebuaui said some words, and the white light completely absorbed Eisai, then Nebuaui moved his hands and the circle disappeared.
