Cups of tea were passed around, and the CEO took a sip of his. The sound of the cup being placed on the glass table increased the tension in the room. He leaned back and eyed the cup. "What happens if she dies? If only the vision has come true."
"The very least it can do is cause a ripple throughout the universe," Eleni explained.
"Is there any information about which reality it will affect?" he asked.
"The divines are taking over human souls and destinies, and it will affect everyone. As expected, it will have a significant impact on all headquarters. Bennu is the girl they are attempting to murder." Eleni continued after taking a sip. "Harut received the destiny of a seeker, the father of the Bennu; this girl was destined to gain the power and abilities of that legendary creature; without her, most, if not all, realities will be affected. They want to eliminate the only creature with the ability to change reality."
"It's a difficult request," the CEO sighed. "To request such an intervention from the Wang." He instructed Hyun to invite Liam Wang to their meeting. The Wang were a pure-blood Dokkaebi family known for their wisdom and wealth.
They were one of the few pure-blooded families in this realm, their great-grandfather was one of the chairmen of the Silla realms throughout the universe. Silla's board of directors spans all realities, guiding and ruling over their people.
Hyun stepped away for a few moments before returning with Liam by his side. He didn't appear surprised to see three Cupids from another reality sitting with the CEO.
He bowed and said, "My grandfather informed me about this meeting, our family is well aware of what is going on in your reality. He sensed that if the vision became a reality, some changes would occur in our realm. We don't usually intervene with people of your kind, but I'm here to help."
"Thank you, we really appreciate it," Theia said with a smile. Eleni took the initiative to inform Liam of all the information they had. Liam sat quietly, his face stern and emotionless. "We'd have to tap into your love essence to find her."
His expression changed slightly; he appeared uneasy about the whole thing. "We're also aware of your type of power," Eleni stated. He understood what she meant and didn't want to go into it any further. He stated that he would assist them and that they could begin immediately.
Eleni approached him and grabbed his shoulders, telling him to try to relax. Theia followed her and took a hairpin from the left side of her hair. The hairpin quickly morphed into a thin needle. She approached Liam and tapped him on the chest. "The Puntina will sting a little, so take a deep breath."
While whispering Nadine's name, Theia swirled and flipped the Puntina through her fingers. When Liam heard her name, his heart rate increased slightly. Theia slowly inserted the needle just above his beating heart, telling him to take a deep breath.
As the Puntina permeated his heart, he felt the urge to scream cribbing into his throat. Eleni placed both her hands on his face, cupping his bearded cheeks, just as his terrified scream was about to be heard.
The white petals on her forearm floated through her skin into the air, forming a single white sheet that hovered over his terrified face. Theia's whispers and Eleni's firm grip on his face were the last things he heard and felt.
