"You can't do it... NO!" He aimed his entire body at the dome. He was met with Camellia's sharp sword that made a small cut over his wrist before he could touch the white and red strings. His burgundy, nearly black blood splattered all over the Camenae and her shoes. He whimpered in agony and turned to face her. "You... must... d...die!" He turned away from the dome and ran to Camellia, who appeared surprised by his rapid motion.
The Rengo was quickly filled with Mariat's troops, who attacked them with unnatural rage. Camellia's sword slashed through their luminous flesh, slaughtering each Divine who came her way. Mariat's movement was hesitant and weak, but she pushed him into the ground with a quick kick.
Rosalia yelled to the Cielo to protect the dome, and thousands of greenish roots appeared from the ground, hovering over the Camenae to cover the dome.
It was strange how angry they appeared, how each punch was harsh but not truly intended to harm but rather to distract.
Everyone was avoiding them easily, too easily to their liking. They all seemed to think the same as they exchanged worried looks. The Divines began to take control, simply by using their bodies to do so. Each creature was unique, but what distinguished the Divines was their strong build and tall bodies.
Rosalia was the only one Cielo protected with the dome; it shielded her, repelling any divine who came near her. She took a deep breath and looked around; their number was rapidly increasing. They were thousands in number, staining their mystical Rengo with their bloody robes and blackish blood.
Camellia was controlling her sword; no Divine could hold her body; her true identity was taking control. The Sekhmet soul completely emerged, wreaking havoc on their angelic-like bodies.
Many Divines were attacking, and even the Heka's guardian began to howl for air.
Rayan's dark shadow was present and cold, sucking the life from each Divine that lanced their way to him. He wasn't lying when he said he wouldn't intervene; in fact, he didn't even help his friend; he was only protecting himself. Rosalia was disgusted by his selfishness.
Liam was fighting with all his might, using his bow to strike them in the head. Pushing as hard as he could, he fought for his life as each one aimed for his neck, wanting to choke him and suffocate him to put an end to it all.
Theia and Eleni were trapping the Divines in a loop of memories, pushing them into Eleni's limbo. She jumped over each one's shoulder, holding their heads; the white petals had changed from soft to sharp cutting flying pieces, penetrating their minds.
When she was done with one, she threw his body to the ground, his clear eyes turning bloody red, the roots hovering over his body absorbing it.
Theia divided her Puntina into tens of floating thread needles that slashed into their chests. With each dropped dead body, she cringed. When Mariat appeared, Eleni swiftly threw one petal to her, changing the nature of the Puntina and turning it into a deadly weapon.
Rosalia's eyes darted around the scene, catching sight of Mariat, who was still writhing in agony on the ground. He started crawling, and her fist curled in anticipation of his next move. He looked up at the dome as he regained his footing. His gaze was fixed on Rosalia, who was frozen. His eyes were pleading and terrified.
A buzzing noise filled her head, excruciatingly painfully greeting every nerve in her body. Her vision became blurry, and the strong grip of the wooden roots around her body became numb and slipped away.
Everything around her standing body moved at a painfully slow pace. Mariat's body was walking towards the Dome, each step stained with blood. Liam was finally free of the Divines, his arm reaching slowly behind him and grabbing another fiery arrow.
Rosalia noticed Camellia's tardily body attempting to catch Mariat before touching the dome as her sword slaughtered the last head of Divine standing across her. Eleni and Liam followed her.
A deafening buzz hit her again, and her vision became even more hazy. Mariat threw his body over the dome, merging his blood with the flames, as the flaming green arrow cut through the wooden roots, plunging into the dome. Flares of blood and green flame erupted from the dome, revealing Nadine's face swirling at an alarming speed.
