The five pairs of sharp, clear, icy eyes glowed in the room after Jien left. Their bodies appeared along with Harut's voice. "Eisai's power changed him... his greediness for power took over his mind. His action may be rational, but he wanted to change his world for the better."
"He wants to change his destiny," Meika said. "How could a human do so?"
Gabriela moved her hood a little and said, "His future is bright and full of greatness, but Nebuaui will not let him do so, his actions were not terrible, he wanted what was best for his people, when Harut and I saw his future, it was filled with potential—"
"You foresaw his future!" Anki said, shockingly.
"I know it is wrong, but I had to see everything before deciding," Gabriela said. "We had to cross many limits to prove Harut's decision. I am aware of how dangerous these actions are, but I devoted my life to our world and theirs. I will let nothing stop us."
"I cannot believe you are saying such words! —" Anki said.
"I cannot believe you still believe in these creatures," Mariat said.
"—I believe in our oath!" Anki said, angrily.
"Fighting with each other is pointless. You still do not believe how evil they could get with such great power. His actions are just starting," Harut said. "He wanted a glorious future for his kingdom. He would harm no one, yet Nebuaui and his people are the ones who will destroy everything."
"Nebuaui will repeat his actions as well," Harut said and looked at them. "He will kill another time traveler and destroy time and reality yet again." Harut looked at the rest of the divines intensely and said, "Humans are born stubborn, no matter how many chances they have, they repeat the same mistakes."
Gabriela sighed and said, "I want to protect our oath, but these humans are pure chaos."
Eisai opened his eyes, feeling the chilly wind running through him. He was back in the room where he saw Nebuaui last. The room was empty, the papyrus was still spread on the table in the middle of the room and the golden drink freshly smell filled the room.
Eisai was relieved when he didn't see Nebuaui. He walked quietly to see if he was near, but the hall outside the room was empty as well.
He let out a long breath and shifted his attention to the papyrus on the table. He ran his hands through them, smirking as he could read what was written on them. Powerful red electric sparks ran inside his veins, glowing under his skin.
He felt a strong power hovering over him, feeding him with force beyond his soul. His body vanished through the air, appearing in the great hypostyle hall seconds later. He eyed the inscriptions, feeling his blood boiling through his veins. He didn't trust those people with such great power.
Why would they have all this knowledge and powers? They do not have the right to control the world, He thought.
He stopped at the same spot Nebuaui stopped at to what he now knows the name, the forbidden hall. He raised his hand and did the same movement Nebuaui did. When he stopped, a glowing blue light appeared and revealed a medium-sized circle with a line tangent to it. The shape kept glowing, and then a minor earthquake happened. He waited until the wall faded away and stepped inside.
He stood in the white void; he squatted down and touched the ground; the red sparks came out of his balm and went into the white ground. The void transformed into a massive room filled with lighting candles hanging on the walls and loads of hieroglyphs inscriptions all over the walls, ceiling, and the ground.
He looked at the walls, admiring these powerful spells and feeling resentment at the same time. He didn't accept the fact that those people were gifted with such great powers and selfishly didn't share them with the rest of the world.
