As Addaya began to cast a spell, the ground vibrated violently, causing Meritamun to lose her balance slightly; she gripped the table's edge to keep herself from falling.
Donggun recognized which spell Addaya was using. "Stop!" he said weakly. He had seen the spell before when they first opened the Book of the Dead, and he couldn't believe Addaya would use such a powerful chaotic spell.
The ground beneath them cracked open; thousands of bright blue strings emerged from between the cracks. Moving quickly toward Meritamun's trembling body and slamming her hard against one of the walls.
Addaya took a small weapon from his cloth and hurled it at Meritamun. When the thrown weapon landed on her raised left hand, it stabbed her between her thumb and index finger. She screamed in agony, and blood poured from her wound, covering the blue lotuses on the ground next to her.
Donggun finally managed to get up; he gathered all his remaining strength and pushed Addaya's body, causing him to fall. Donggun squatted over Addaya and began punching him in the face nonstop; Meritamun stood there terrified, everything around her moving in slow motion for some reason.
She tried to move her body but couldn't because something was holding her down. She looked down to see bright blue strings slowly covering her body and squeezing them tightly.
The strings were getting tighter and tighter. Reaching her neck and choking her; she wanted to scream but couldn't. She remembered the golden figure, but her golden wisps couldn't escape the clenching movements of the blue strings, and she stared at them again, terrified.
Donggun moved away from Addaya and approached her with an anguished face and terrified eyes. "Don't be afraid! I'm here!" Donggun screamed and hugged her, and the ground began to shake violently. Addaya stood up and went to Meritamun's body, pushing Donggun away from her.
"You won't hurt anyone," Addaya said as he placed both of his hands around her neck, choking her to death with the powerful strings.
The ground vibrated harder, and the walls of the room began to crumble; the strings moved further upward, covering Meritamun's mouth. Her pain erupted from her throat in the form of a silent scream; she groaned loudly, but her voice was melted by the sounds of the crumbling walls.
Muffled tears wracked her clenched chest, her vision was blurred by her running tears, and she saw Addaya's face filled with hatred and grudges.
Donggun fought his weak body, which urged him to collapse, and clutched Meritamun's imprisoned body tightly. The wall on the other side collapsed, revealing rage in the form of turbulent and unforgiving water, which infiltrated the area with its enraged waves.
The sky was dark and unyielding, and the water swallowed everything in its path to them. Meritamun screamed again, her golden wisps breaking through the clenched blue strings.
It covered her entire body and pushed Addaya away from her, but Donggun immediately hugged her, and the golden wisps completely covered his body. When it hit Meritamun's golden wisps, the sky cracked open, and mighty light rushed toward their bodies, hurling Donggun's body next to Addaya.
The enraged waves devoured their standing bodies, leaving them trembling in fear. Darkness engulfed them, filling them with dread, and anguish ruled over every cell in their bodies, screaming for oxygen.
The golden wisps glowed mighty in rhythm with the monstrous waves beneath the dominant dark water shielding Meritamun. She opened her eyes to see everything around her pass up and down in a blur; the blinding mighty sky and her lustrous golden wisps forced her to close them tightly.
Jalila shook her head, not believing her own ears and eyes. Those people were beyond saving. "You didn't tell me your people can do that! Not only did they steal my people's rightful destiny but erase their souls." Jalila shouted angrily at Osir who looked furious.
"They are not my people anymore, they broke the oath, and I will not let them destroy the universe."
Jalila looked back at him before moving and said, "I don't want to lose my faith in you."
"You have my word I will not let them hurt anyone else. We must move fast, gather your people, you must get his daughter now! As for them, I will get them myself." Jalila nodded at him and asked Nabil to come with her.
