Rafe's POV:

"Who the hell have you been talking to, Rafe?", Harvey snaps at me as soon as I get back to our house in Guadeloupe, "Rose and I had a plan. One that your dad approved of." I expected him to be mad at me as soon as I get back but I thought I'd come home as a rich man and bring some money with me. 

Instead, I got trapped by some psycho and the one person I've trusted most betrayed me. I can't believe that Bella pushed me off my own boat for some pogues. I can't believe that I wasn't more cautious. How could I be so blind? Whenever damn Isabella Scott is around, I am trapped by my own feelings. I didn't expect myself to be screwed by her.

"We had a plan, Rafe. I expected you to work with Harvey and Rose, not against them", dad approaches us slowly to my surprise. He's awake. Finally. Now he can hand me over the position of dealing with the family's business and abdicate. "I worked in your best interest, dad", I state but he already shakes his head and points to the door so we can talk alone. God, will someone in this family finally see the effort that I'm making?

After my conversation with dad I feel a little better. He might not let me make a decision about the cross yet but I'll change his mind. If not, I'll find a way how to get it back and dispose of it in the best way possible. I'll do what he says one last time. Take care of our business back home and finish it so I can come back and he can see that I'm worthy of taking over. He has to see it eventually. 

"Rafe", Harvey stops me before I enter my room to pack my suitcase. "I know what dad and you are thinking, Harvey, but I'm responsible. You've got no idea what has happened the past twentyfour hours and how I was trying to make Isabella do the right thing once again." 

"Isabella", Harvey repeats furling his eyebrows, "Where have you been? Where is my daughter? Why isn't she with you?" I chuckle knowing that he's even less amused than I am when mentioning the pogues. I was the one trying to make her stay with kooks only but no one's seen the effort that I'm making. 

I mean, he'd let me be with her and he seemed to be quite glad about it but.. he only complains when she's not around. "Just to make this clear, Harvey", I huff as I'm done being treated like a child, "I was the one who made her come with us. It was me who made her come with us. She was on the costal venture because of me-" 

"Then tell me Rafe, where is she now? Why'd she jump off the boat if you made her stay with you? Excuse my worries but I have the slight feeling that she jumped off in the middle of the ocean because of JJ Maybank. So don't tell me what you've done when it's just something that you've started and have never brought to an end because she'd supposed to be here. Dana has been waiting for her daughter to come home for weeks. Now tell me where is she and why is she not with you?" 

I groan angrily and beat my hand against the stone wall. Harvey's got some nerves to talk to me like that. She jumped off the boat because of JJ. No she jumped off because she didn't want to be around her family. It's not about me. I'm not going to make myself believe that she wanted to leave me. But she pushed me off my own boat.. "Rafe." 

"I wanted to sell the cross to this man.. Singh is his name. I met him in his house in Barbados. He let me wait for a bit and when someone entered the room it wasn't him, it was Isabella", I tell him focusing on the story instead of my feelings. "Why was she in his house? How did she get there?" 

"I've got no idea how she got there. All I know is that he wanted a stupid book and she was supposed to tell him. I've got no idea why she knows about a book that can cause danger and she didn't talk about it but it's also not important. We sneaked out and ran to my boat." "If she was on the boat with you-" 

"She wasn't on the boat.. at least not with me. I told her we would drive home alone but she had other plans.. Let's say she stole my boat to save the pogues." I don't stress the fact that I let her push me off the boat. It's embarrassing enough. "But I've tracked the boat and it's on its way back to Kildare." "What a coincidence that you've got some business to deal with over there", Harvey nods and lays his hand on my shoulder, "Bring Isabella home and don't screw up this time."

Iz's POV:

"Bell, come", Big John suggests as we walk balk to the Chateau as soon as we arrive back in Kildare. Mainland under my feet never felt better. I've had enough of islands for a while. "Thanks John, but I'll go to see if the others are already back. You two have a lot to catch up on", I smile back at him and hug both of the Routledge men, "It's good to have you back." "Thanks for believing me, Bell", John B smiles and I nod. If I could only believe in someone, it has to be one of these two. They don't have a lot but a big heart, a bigger ego and an even bigger brain.

My first stop is at JJ's but it looks like he hasn't come back yet or he's somewhere else. The eviction notice hasn't been torn down yet. I can't go to Anna and Christian. Our last conversation wasn't quite good and I couldn't tell them where Kie is. I don't know it myself. Same goes for the Heywards. I'd love to talk to them but Pope's still on his way. The only place where I can go and what feels a tiny bit like home is Tanneyhill. I might visit Topper as well but not in the middle of the night. His mom would freak out. Seems like Tanneyhill it is.
