Chapter 5: Surprised

Y/N POV

As we got inside the cars, Shaw, myself and Atem went into the truck, while joey and Ashely go in another car. For a second, I thought I saw Shaw hide something in his jacket. I brushed it off and sat in the front seat. Atem started his truck and drove off into the streets, while joey was following us from behind.

Meanwhile in Joey's car

"Aye, Ash. " Joey started to say, "Do you think Yami is actually going to show (y/n) the tablets?"

Ashley sighs, "I'm not sure Joey, but she has the right to know where she actually came from."

"Yea, your right." Joey agreed. "He is the reincarnated Pharaoh after all, but how do you think she'll feel if she finds out that her past self was his wife?"

"Well, as much as I hate to say it, but she has feelings for Atem. It's just sad that Atem doesn't see it."

Joey laughed, "HA! What are you talking about Ashely! He's always liked (y/n). She was too much into her work to see him in that way."

Ashley faced palm her face, "There has to be a way to get them together."

"That's a good idea. I wish I had thought of that but," Joey's stomach starts to growl, "I'm starving!"

"Joey, you already ate an hour ago! How can you be hungry again?!"

"Well Ashley, I can't lie but nothing comes between me and food!"

"Oye Vay." 🤦

"Whatever you said, I want that too! I hope they have that wherever we're going!" Joey said.

"Just focus on the on the road, Joey." Ashely started to notice something wrong in Atem's Truck. "Joey did you see Luna in the house when we left?"

 "Now that you said it, no not really." 

"Oh gosh, please tell me Shaw didn't bring her. I gave him those fish like candies earlier. 🤦🏻‍♀️"

"By the looks of it..I think he did because I see something small."

Back in Atem's truck

"Shaw! I thought Atem told you not to bring Luna!" I yelled at him.

"I thought it would be a good idea! I love animal! I'm sorry (y/n)! Ow! Stop scratching me Luna! I already told you, you can't have my Swedish fish snacks!"

"MEOW!!" *scratch*

"(y/n) did you bring any cat nibbles for Luna?! I can't focus with all this movement in the truck. The cops are going to think I'm drunk." asked Atem.

"I think I have a snack for her, let me look." As (y/n) tried to open her bag to look for cat snacks. Luna grabbed a hold of Shaw snacks.

"Luna! That's mine!" Shaw yelled. 

"Geez, Shaw! Don't bring fish snacks in my car!!" Atem said.

"I'm sorry atem! I didn't know!" Shaw whined.

"Here Luna, I have a couple of snacks for you. Now drop those candies and eat this because I don't want to take you to the vet!" I told her.

"O.0 meow??" Luna drops the snacks and jumps on my lap. To think this time and hopefully Shaw learns his lesson of not bring Luna with him. "I hoped you learned your lesson shaw." I told him while petting Luna.

"Sorry guys." He said apologizing

Atem was annoyed but forgave his trusted friend. He knew it wasn't in his intentions to distract his driving. "You are forgiven, Shaw. Plus, where almost there."
