Chapter 14: Trouble

*Knock knock knock knock*

Atem POV

I was woken up by some maniac banging on my door. Before I could get up I felt a pair of arms go around me. It was (y/n), still asleep. She looked so beautiful and to finally be able to call her mine is the most amazing thought 💭. I'm glad, she came to me first because I was going to wait until we got to Egypt to make the first move. I moved a piece of her away from her beautiful face. I want to be able to see this face every morning. I was still in my thoughts when then another loud ass knock came to my door. *KNOCK KNOCK*

"Alright, I'm coming. Hold your steed." I opened the door to see yugi patting. "Yugi! What's wrong!?"

"We....have...too...go...to the....office. Right....away!" he pants uncontrollably.

"It's 5 in the morning yugi, what happened!" I whispered yelled.

"Someone....broke into the office, last night." Yugi tries to relax his breathing, "Couple of the guards called me. We need to go now."

I heard a yawn coming from behind me to see (y/n) barely waking up. Yugi looked behind me with eyes wide open and looked at me. "No yugi, wait I know what you're thinking! Nothing happened I swear!"

"Oh it sure doesn't look like nothing, you're shirtless." he crosses his arms.

"Trust me, nothing happened and instead of you pointing the obvious of me being shirtless, be grateful I'm not bottomless!" I yelled at him. "Now go get grandpa ready."

"What was all that knocking? Oh yugi hi, good morning......" (y/n) stopped in her speech, and her eyes widen. "Oh wait, you're not supposed to know I'm here! NOTHING HAPPENED!!" She shouted.

"Yeah (y/n), Atem told me nothing happened. But I don't believe it!" He then looks straight at me. "However, I'm glad you both still have clothes on, but the office guys, we must hurry."

"Wait, what happened to the office?" She asked

"Someone has broken in last night." I told her.

"WHAT!" (Y/n) launched out of the bed running to her room to get ready. She looked like roadrunner when she left my room. I ran to my closet finding decent clothes to wear since it was my day off. As I was getting ready, I couldn't help but feel as if something is going to happen. I can't tell if it's going to be good or bad but I got to keep my guard up and protect (y/n).

*Time skip to the office*

(Y/N) POV

When Yugi, myself, grandpa Muto and Atem arrived at the building, we couldn't believe our eyes. Someone smashed the windows to Atem's office, so we quickly ran inside and the whole place was a mess. Papers everywhere, furniture turned over, the computers smashed, the glass that held the stone tablets was smashed but the person must have a hard time smashing through the glass because it never shattered. "oh my gosh, this is horrible. Who would do such a thing." I said walking all over the broken glass.

"I'm not sure, but whatever they were looking for wasn't here." Atem walks over to his desk to call his head of security and see if the cameras were still operating during the incident. "Hello, zeke, it's Atem."

"Yes sir?" He replies back.

Atem, had a firm voice, "Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm at my post sir, we've tried to call you but you line was busy." He stated.

"Busy?" Atem thought about it, his phone was off the entire night, while we were together. "Right, Zeke who worked graveyard last night?" he asked.

"It was Alex and a new person I hired, Jake." He answered.
