Chapter 16: Training

Atem POV

"AHHH! (Y/N)!" I woke up screaming and sweating real badly. (Y/n) was beside me and I had woken her up by my screams. (Y/n) tried to calm me down but my panting didn't stop. "When Mana came to check on me I ran to you to see if you were alright." I stared at her, "Thank you" I grabbed her tightly not wanting to ever let her go.

"You had the same vision as I did, the healers room. Right?" She hugged me tighter, "I'm glad I was able to save you. But I wish we could had seen more..." I stopped her from speaking anymore, so I put my lips on hers. Her kisses were all I needed right now to help me keep calm. The sun was creeping up, and shining through my window.

"(Y/n)." I broke our kiss.

She looks at me with a soft look, "Yes?"

"I have a feeling bukura is going to meet us in Egypt. He's going to destroy it completely if we don't stop him." I slowly get up from the bed, and walk to her side, "I'd promised you that I'll love you forever and protect you from any harm, but also to never say goodbye."

"Atem, please." She creases my cheeks, "Don't do this to me, don't say your goodbyes like that." a tear started to form.

I smiled, "let me finish, (y/n)" I kiss her hand, "I want you to know that if something does happen to me while we are away. I had change a lot of stuff and added your name into everything." I see tears start to flow down her face, I wipe them away. " I love you, I wanted you to be worry free if anything did happen to me. You are my world and I want to make sure that the company is in good hands, along side yugi." she shakes her head no, "I know you didn't want to hear this, espcially now but I have a feeling that Bukura might be there. I'll protect you no matter what."

"I'll do whatever it takes to save you, Atem." I wipe her tears away as she continues to speak, "You are not fighting him alone. We do things together, as a team. Remember" Both our items start to glow, I can feel the power flow in me "We save Egypt together as the queen and king did so long ago. I am your protector Atem. You once asked to me be by your side always to death due us apart." I kiss her as if it was our last. I know it is going to be hard me to have her keep away from bukura. I just have to make sure she doesn't see me leave to go find him and kill him.

"Then we better start doing some training my love," I told her as we broke our kiss. Before we headed outside we were dressed in strange clothing that was gifted to us, from Mahad. (Y/n) had this long white/bluish/purple cloak dress on with long sleeves that has gold arm bracelets. It had a goldish neck choker along with her necklace and wrapped around gold shoes. I didn't look anything like what (y/n) was wearing but a more appropriate clothing for a pharaoh.

(y/n) was checking herself out in the mirror, "Atem are you sure that isn't the outfit for the festival?"

I smile at her as she admires her outfit a bit more, "It's not supposed to be but I was told this is what the past pharaohs wore for combat training." I take a few steps toward her and wraped my arms around her, "you on the other hand, are looking very sexy." I kiss her neck, as she smiles "Now lets go outside, Shaw and joey laid out a few things for us to train with."

"I'm not going out like this, are you crazy," she spins around to face me, "what is everyone else wearing?"

I look at her strangely, "Come on (y/n), everyone is wearing their amour. Apparently this is what "we" wore when our past selves met before the pharaohs party."

She looks at me with confusion still on her face, "So I wore this exact same outfit 5,000 years ago? Is that what your telling me?"

"Your a girl, it would make sense that you had something like that." I joked, "come lets go." I ran out the door because I knew she would kill me when I said that.
