Dale's POV
LEAVING Candace's house, I immediately went to the place where I saw someone watching us. Pero pagdating ko doon, wala akong naabutang tao. I could only smell some scent. A rogue scent. Tinignan ko ang buong lugar. Malayo ito sa bahay nila Candace pero dahil matalas ang mata ng mga katulad namin. Malinaw naming nakikita ang nasa malayo. I looked directly to Candace's house and I could clearly see her moving inside her house.
"Damn..." I muttered under my breath. I should place some pack warriors here. It's not safe for my mate.
"Alpha."
I looked at Noah.
"Alpha, I saw you coming here." Sabi ni Noah.
"Assigned some pack warriors here." Utos ko. "Make sure that no rogue could get near to my wife."
"Yes, Alpha."
Tinignan ko ang buong paligid. On the ground I could see many footsteps, werewolf footsteps. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang mga nandito kanina pero nararamdaman kong hindi ito maganda. Kung nandito sila para kay Candace, ano ang kinalaman ni Candace sa kanila?
O dahil kaya sa mate ko siya? So, some of the rogues were targeting her. But a rogue won't act wild unless they are being ordered by someone. Someone who is powerful enough to order the rogues to make an ally with him.
But I wonder who would it be? I couldn't think of someone. But I did offend a lot of people before.
"Alpha."
Tumingin ako kay Noah. "Bakit?"
"Alpha, my sister is coming back." Imporma ni Noah. "Ahmm, her five-year punishment is about to end."
Kumunot ang nuo ko. "Noah, you know why I sent your sister away before. If she does something maliciously again this time, I won't be merciful to her anymore."
Yumukod is Noah. "I understand your concern, Alpha. Don't worry, I will talk to her."
"And tell her not to approach me. Kung may gusto siyang sabihin, sabihin niya sa 'yo o kay Bryan. Pwede rin si Kian pero hindi ako." I stated with no room of negotiation.
"Yes, Alpha."
Kapagkuwan naalala ko si Analie at Candace. They're best friends. Even Analie is the Beta Female, I knew that she was loyal to Candace. At ganun din si Candace sa kaniya.
"Noah, don't tell Analie about it or else I will be screwed." Seryoso kong sabi.
Yumukod si Noah. "Yes, Alpha."
Tumango ako. "Go back to your post now."
Noah bowed again and left me.
I sighed.
Noah's sister is coming back. It's not that she's not welcome, ayaw ko lang na lumapit siya sa akin dahil sa ginawa niya noon. Good thing that Kian is with me or else, Noah's sister got what she wanted. I just hope na hindi malaman ni Analie ang tungkol sa ginawa ng kapatid ni Noah. Hindi naman ako nag-aalala na malaman ni Analie ang ginawa ng kapatid ni Noah dahil wala nang nangyari pero baka kasi sabihin nito kay Candace ang tungkol roon.
Bryan's POV
I was walking towards the pack house when I inhaled something familiar. A scent that I couldn't forget.
Bumalik na ba siya? I asked myself. Umaasa akong bumalik na nga siya.
I've been longing for her for so long. It's been five years since the last time I saw her. Since she offended Alpha Dale and she got punished, I never seem her again. I also don't have contact with her. I wanted to go with her at that time but I couldn't because I have responsibility on the Midnight Pack.
