"DON'T touch her!" Bryan yelled when he saw Simon touched Luna Candace. "Luna!"
Pinaghiwalay ni Simon si Bryan at Candace.
Simon tortured by the silver whip while he let Candace watched.
Candace begged the man to stop. At last, he stopped torturing Bryan.
Simon was amused. "Despite that you were whipped by me for many times and yet you still have the strength to yell."
Bryan glared at Simon. "Don't touch the Luna."
Tumawa si Simon. Umiling siya. "Paano ba 'yan? I can touch wherever I want. You are tied, Bryan. You can't do nothing," he said as he touched the Luna's face.
Iniling ni Candace ang mukha. "Huwag mo akong hawakan." Masama ang tingin niya sa lalaki.
Tumawa si Simon. "Okay." He raised his palm. "I won't touch you." Kumuha siya ng isang upuan at umupo doon. "Do you want to know who is Dale? And why is he calling you Luna?" He asked as he pointed Bryan who were enduring the pain.
Kumuyom ang kamay ni Candace. "I don't want to know and I don't want to listen. Pakawalan mo na lang kami."
Simon smiled. "Too bad. I wanted to tell you the reason why?"
"Simon, don't you dare!" Bryan yelled. "Luna, don't listen to him!"
Tumingin si Candace kay Bryan.
"Dale is not a human." Simon said.
Ibinalik ang tingin ni Candace kay Simon. "Sino ka ba? At pwede ba huwag kang gumawa ng kwento?" Matapang niyang saad.
Simon tsked and shake his head. "No wonder Dale fell for you and didn't reject you."
Kumunot ang nuo ni Candace. "Anong sinasabi mo?"
Tumayo si Simon at pumunta sa likuran ni Candace.
"Anong gagawin mo?" Kinakabahang tanong ni Candace.
Ngumisi lang si Simon at tinanggal ang tali sa kamay ng mate ni Dale saka siya bumalik sa kinauupuan. He wanted to play but he was tried because of torturing the Gamma of Midnight Pack.
"See this?" Ipinakita ni Simon ang braso na nabali. "Dale did this to me. And he also killed my best friend. You know why?"
Candace was shocked. "W-why?"
"Because he is an Alpha."
"Alpha?" Nagtaka si Candace. "What is that?"
Napailing si Simon. "Mukhang wala ka talagang alam tungkol kay Dale."
"Alpha is the Leader of a pack." Bryan said. "Luna is the Alpha's soulmate. They run the pack together. Alpha without a Luna is lifeless."
Candace looked at Bryan. "Just get to the point, Bryan."
Bryan took a deep breath. "Alpha Dale is a werewolf. He is the Alpha of Midnight Pack."
Napatitig si Candace kay Bryan. She was processing what Bryan told her.
Dale is an Alpha.
Dale is a werewolf.
This is a joke, right?
She suddenly remembered what Dale had asked when they were in the log house. "If I am a werewolf, matatakot ka ba sa akin?"
Ipinikit ni Candace ang mata. "So, this is it?" She took a deep breath. Natawa siya ng mahina saka napailing at tumingin kay Simon. "You. What are you then?"
