Knuckles was finally discharged from the hospital but he refuses to go home where he was kidnapped in the first place. Amy invited him to stay at her house while sonic and shadow move his stuff out. Knuckles informs the three that the dark one seeks Amy before she was the vessel for his demonic bride known as the mother of all. He also tells them that the dark one is known as the father of all monsters. Hence how he turned sonic and shadow. Now that sonic and shadow gotten this new information they head to tails to see if he could come up with any ideas. Unfortunately they have to travel to Rome for a sacred artifact that could help bring the father of all down. Knuckles decided to watch over Amy until they get back giving them comfort and Amy feels safe.
The following week the hedgehogs and fix boards the plane and heads off to Rome.
