NETEYAM'S POV After days of flying my family and I finally arrived to Awa'atlu. I was happy to arrive since I was very tired from the flight. Believe it or not riding an ikran is not the most comfortable thing.
We hopped off of our ikran and started to carefully make our way towards the villagers who were already surrounding us. My father put his arms up in order to show that we meant no harm and I followed his actions.
As we stood there the leaders of the clan came to speak to my parents while my siblings and I stood behind them. I noticed two boys start walking toward us one of them giving a rude menacing look. My brother and I did the 'I see you' hand gesture toward them but they did not return it, which shocked me a bit.
"What is that? Is that supposed to be a tail?" I heard the shorter one say and I noticed that they were talking about me. They began to laugh. Just then two girls began making their way toward us, they were very pretty one of them in particular. I could see my brother looking at the taller girl and I smirked. I couldn't help but to look at the shorter girl she was very pretty.
"Hey" my brother said to the taller girl who simply giggled. I looked to her side and saw the shorter girl looking at me up and down, but not in a rude way. We made eye contact and she did a little wave. I smirked and did the I see you gesture to which she blushed and giggled, I thought was very cute.
"Jake Sully and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. Show them our ways." The leader Tonowari stated. He looked to my father and said "my daughters Tsireya and Au'rai and son Aonung will show your children what to do"
"Come, we will show you your new home" the tallest of the girls said. She began to lead us toward one of the pods that rested above the sea. I noticed the shortest sister was a bit in front of me so I walked faster to catch up to her since I wanted to talk to her.
"Kaltxi" I greeted she turned to me and grinned showing her beautiful smile.
"Kaltxi" she returned
"My name is Neteyam what is yours?"
"It's nice to meet you Neteyam, my name is Au'rai"
"Au'rai" I repeated "it's pretty" she looked at me with with her beautiful big eyes and that was enough to make me nervous "your name is pretty. Not you. I mean you are very very pretty but I meant that your name was pretty, just like how you are..." What the hell was that? Did I just ramble? Did she just make ME ramble?! She laughed softly to herself before she continued walking leaving me simply standing there like an idiot.
"I think she likes you Tey!" I looked down and saw my little sister Tuktirey or Tuk for short. "But maybe try not to talk so much next time, okay?" she smiled and I smiled back at her.
Oh Eywa I hope Au'rai doesn't think I'm a complete idiot. I would actually like to get to know her.
