LO'AKS POV
Me and my siblings asked my parents for permission to go to the bonfire later tonight. Mom was a bit skeptical at first, but Dad convinced her that it would be a good idea to make friends with the kids here. I think he's totally right, well to be completely honest I don't care too much about being friends with anyone but Tsireya. She's so amazing. Not only is she absolutely stunning but she's also kind and very genuine. I already have a really big crush on her.My mood was very good since I was really excited for tonight. Maybe I'd make a move on Tsireya. I was doing some chores around the pod when I heard a discussion I was less than happy to hear.
"So have you seen any pretty girls?" my dad asked Neteyam
"There is one girl that I've taken a liking to" Neteyam smiled.
"Oh I bet it's Tonowaris daughter! The eldest right?" My mother stated excitedly. Oh Eywa. Please don't let Neteyam like Tsireya. If he does I have absolutely zero chance with her.
"No, it's actually Au'rai, the youngest daughter" Thank goodness.
"Au'rai? Really?" My father smiled brightly nudging Neteyam. I could sense a bit of surprise in his voice, almost like he wasn't expecting Neteyam to say Au'rai "are you gunna make a move at the bonfire?"
"I do not think so, it's still too soon" Neteyam said. He's such a wuss I don't give a shit that I just met Tsireya yesterday ima still try to get at her.
"And anyways Neteyam, I've heard a lot of not very good things about that girl in just the one day we've been here" my mother said. Bad things about Au'rai? She doesn't seem bad at all.
"What have you heard?" My brother asked
"The villagers say she's a bit of a rebel. They say she doesn't listen to her parents or follow the rules. I also heard the she's very outspoken."
"What is wrong with being outspoken?" Neteyam questioned
"Nothing is wrong with it son, but sometimes it is important to think before you speak, if you don't it could get you in trouble" my dad stated
"Exactly" mom nodded "that is why I was a bit shocked to hear you say you like her, she's nothing like you my son. If you were to go after anyone I would feel it to be most appropriate to go after Tsireya. She is not rebellious and follows the rules. I can tell she is loved amongst the clan, just like you were back at home"
