AU'RAIS POV
"You're too slow forest boy!" I laughed. Neteyam and I raced our ilus together trying to see who could catch who. Not to brag but my ilu riding skills have always been the best amongst the other kids my age. I could ride an ilu in my sleep.Neteyam and I raced back to shore and it's no surprise that I won. I got off of my ilu and swam to Neteyam who simply smiled at me. When I got to him he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. We brought our lips together and shared a small kiss.
"Ehem" We heard someone clear their throat so we both quickly pulled away to see who it was. "You guys should really be more careful anyone could see you guys out here"
"Oh hey Rotxo" I smiled
"Hey" he replied
"What are you up to ?" Asked Neteyam.
"Well I was helping Lo'ak burn some old wood but then my mom said she needed some help with something so I'm on my way home now. Anyways I gotta go see you guys!" He walked a few steps before turning around "oh and don't kiss out here!" He laughed before walking away. Neteyam and I both chuckled.
"Soooo, do you wanna race again?" I asked
"I would love to ma Au'rai but I have training with Aonung in a bit so I should probably head over there."
"Oh okay" I said with a little pout. Neteyam laughed and gave me a peck.
"You're so cute when you pout" he said in between laughs. "What are you going to do when I leave?"
"Umm I don't know." I thought for a bit. What could I do? It seemed everyone had tasks to do except for me. "Oh I know! I bet Lo'ak could use some help with the wood! I saw it this morning it's a lot!"
"Very well then. Will I see you later tonight my love?" He asked
"Yes, at our spot?"
"Of course!" He walked out of the water and I followed. "See you later" He said before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.
I blushed as I watched him walk away. He's so perfect. I can't believe he's mine sometimes. I'm truly the luckiest woman on Pandora.
LO'AKS POV
"Fucking Rotxo" I cursed under my breath. He really left me alone to burn all of this wood on my own. You would think burning wood isn't hard just shove it all into the fire pit right? Wrong. You have to light every piece separately with a small torch. It's for safety I guess.
