OMNISCIENT
Neteyam and Au'rai laid on the grass together as morning came. Neteyam began to stir and he slowly opened his eyes and woke up, he looked to his side and saw his beautiful mate which caused him to instantly smile. He noticed that their queues were still connected and he chuckled softly as memories from the night before flooded his brain. Neteyam once again turned his attention to Au'rai, he softly caressed her face careful to not wake her. His hands slowly began to wonder from her face, down to her neck, and then eventually caressed her breasts. He leaned down to place a small kiss on Au'rais lips. The small action caused Au'rai to wake up, she looked around a bit dazed waiting for her eyes to get used to the light til finally she focused her sight on Neteyam. She gave him a bright smile before sitting up snuggling her face into the crook of his neck. The two of them lovingly embraced each other and since their queues were still connected, they could feel the love and admiration coming from the other. Neteyam began to place small kisses on Au'rais neck as a way to show how possessive their connection had made him. Au'rai giggled at his actions before slowly backing up from him.
"How'd you sleep?" Au'rai asked as she took Neteyam's hand in hers.
"Good and you?" He replied as he again began to snuggle his face into Au'rais neck, taking in her scent. It was no secret that when two Navi's mate, one usually becomes more attached and possessive over the other. Almost obsessed.
"Me too" Au'rai chuckled as Neteyam continued to stay where he was. Au'rai softly hummed as she held Neteyam close and began to play with his braids. For the first time in a while, Au'rai felt content and at peace. Finally she was with the man she wanted to be with. Nothing could stop them from being together anymore, they were now mates. They were now one.
"I can't wait to get to the forest, I promise my love as soon as we get there I'll see to it that our home is built immediately." Neteyam said as he pulled back and looked into Au'rais gorgeous blue eyes, taking her hand in his. Au'rai smiled brightly at Neteyam's words, for years her biggest dream had been to have a home for herself and the person she loved.
"Can we have curtains made of flowers?" Au'rai asked excitedly which was adorable to Neteyam.
"Of course." He smiled.
"And can it be near water so I can still swim? And can we decorate with lots and lots of flowers?"
"Anything you want ma Au'rai. Just tell me and I'll make it happen." Au'rai smiled and tackled Neteyam into a hug. The two lovers laughed loudly at there embrace. They continued to smile and admire one another til they joined their lips together and shared a sweet gentle kiss.
"Neteyam" They both pulled away when they heard Lo'aks voice. Au'rai got off of Neteyam as they saw Lo'ak and Tsireya approach them.
"Hey baby bro." Neteyam joked with Lo'ak. Something was off though, Lo'ak and Tsireya looked worried. Au'rai and Neteyam stood up and walked closer to them, wondering what was wrong. "What's wrong?" Neteyam asked.
"Uh you should come see this." Lo'ak nodded towards a direction, Neteyam complied.
"Stay here." He said to Au'rai, gently placing a hand on her belly. Au'rai nodded her head and stayed behind with Tsireya. Tsireya noticed how Au'rai was smirking at her which caused her to smile and blush nervously.
"What?" Tsireya laughed.
"Did you guys...you know." Au'rai giggled.
"Oh" Tsireya laughed and covered her blushing face. "Yes" she laughed uncovering her face. "We also made the bond."
"Ahh!" Au'rai gave Tsireya a hug as they both laughed. "Oh my Eywa! Reya I'm so happy for you!" The two sisters laughed before Tsireya pulled back.
"Did you guys mate?" Au'rai simply smiled and nodded which caused Tisreya to squeal happily. "Oh imagine if mother knew." Tsireya giggled and shook her head, she still didn't fully believe that they had gotten away.
"Well...I think she may have an idea." Au'rai chuckled, not really wanting to think of her mother.
Meanwhile the brothers treaded through the island going to where Lo'ak was leading them. Soon enough they reached some bushes at the edge of island, Lo'ak signaled Neteyam to get down and he did.
"What's going on?"
"Look" Lo'ak said looking towards the ocean. Neteyam turned his attention to where Lo'ak was looking, and his stomach dropped.
Demon ships.
Dozens of demon ships heading straight for Awa'atlu.
"What do we do?" Lo'ak asked his brother. The way Neteyam saw it there was only two options and there was only one that he wanted to do. They could either go back to Awa'atlu and help or go to the forest and forget about everyone and everything.
"We have to tell the girls." The brothers began to walk back towards the girls and when they reached them they told them what they saw.
"W-we have to go back." Tsireya said on the verge of tears, she couldn't stand the thought of her village being attacked by the sky people.
"Tsireya-" Au'rai wanted to change Tsireya's mind. They had just gotten away, why would they go back?
"No Au'rai please! We have to go back! That is our home! They are our people!" Tsireya cried. "Think about mother and father!"
"Tsireya when have they ever thought of us?" Au'rai asked trying to stay calm.
"We're going!" Tsireya demanded as she began to walk away with Lo'ak trailing close behind. Au'rai sighed as she looked at Neteyam to feel some sort of reassurance.
"We don't have to go if you don't want to baby" Neteyam spoke softly. Neteyam knew that he didn't want to go back, but he didn't want to influence Au'rais decision. Au'rai thought for a few seconds, she couldn't let Tsireya go back alone. She also thought of Kiri, Aonung, Rotxo, and Tuk. Shoot she even thought of Sahné. They were worth going back for.
"Let's go."
