"I'd like that" Au'rai said with a smile. Neteyam grabbed her hand before walking towards the dance floor. "Oh now?" Au'rai laughed.

"What can I say? I don't like to waste time" Neteyam laughed. When they got to the dance floor it was hard for Au'rai not to notice how some people gave them perplexed looks, not exactly ugly looks, just confused ones.

"N-Neteyam people are looking at us" Au'rai stated as she began to feel small under everyones gaze. Neteyam looked around before slowly moving closer to Au'rai.

"Just ignore them my love, look at me, yes?" His words brought immediate tranquility to the shorter girl. She allowed herself to relax as she felt every bit of worry leave her.

"I don't know the steps" she stated

"That's fine. Do whatever comes naturally and I'll follow" Au'rai nodded her head and began to dance in the ways she knew how, it didn't take Neteyam long to follow and learn her rhythm. The two made sure to keep it friendly looking though, not wanting to cause any suspicion within the clan.

As they danced, Au'rai couldn't stop thinking about what Neteyam said, 'Do whatever comes naturally and I'll follow.' She felt that his words didn't just apply to dancing, they applied to their whole relationship. Neteyam allowed her to be wild, outspoken, and sometimes down right stubborn. He never restricted her from being herself. He let her be who she naturally was and he adapted to it and followed her lead, that's something Au'rai would forever be great full for.

From afar Neytiri watched her two sons dance with the sisters, it slightly bothered her that they weren't dancing with the right one. She walked over to her husband who was finishing up talking to some elders. When she reached him she gently took hold of his arm and voiced her concern.

"This is not right" she said

"What's not?" Jakes asked to which Neytiri simply nodded her head over to her two boys. Jake let out a sigh.

"Just let them dance."

"What?" Neytiri asked bewildered "Jake this is wrong! Ronal and Tonowari would not approve of this-"

"Do you see Ronal or Tonowari anywhere?" Jake questioned cutting her off "Neytiri these kids love each other. And in a few weeks they won't be able to anymore, let's just let them enjoy these last moments with each other, please." Jake pleaded. Neytiri sighed.

"When did your mind change so drastically ma Jake? You said it yourself, we agreed to follow the Metkayina's rules, if the they do not go through with the mating we will not have a safe home" Jake grabbed Neytiri's hand and gently sat down with her.
