𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘦
OMNISCIENT The ceremonial horns were heard loudly throughout all of Awa'atlu, they were so loud that they reached the secluded pod Tsireya and Neteyam were trapped in. The horns symbolized the beginning of an important day. Neteyam had tried all night and all morning to get out of the pod but it was to no avail, Tsireya on the other hand had spent all night crying, they were both terrified at the thought of losing the ones they loved.
"Damn it!" Neteyam shouted as he rammed his shoulder into the door once more.
"Neteyam it's no use!" Tsireya cried "We're stuck here! Lo'ak and Au'rai are going to mate soon and-"
"Shut up Tsireya." Neteyam said cutting her off. He didn't want to be mean to her but he couldn't have her spiraling like this, she had to stay rational so that they could figure out a way to escape. "Look I know you're scared, I am too, but we need to think positively and figure this out together."

Au'rai stood in her families pod as her mother and Sahné's mother, Mae'len, added the final touches to her ceremonial attire. Her cheeks were tear stained as she knew that she and Neteyam were over. There was no more hope for them.
"There, she is ready." Mae'len said smiling warmly at Au'rai. "She looks beautiful."
"Yes, she does." Ronal said as she caressed Au'rais face. In the past Au'rai would've loved nothing more than to feel this sort of affection from her mother, but now the mere thought of Ronal's touch made her want to vomit. She hated her mother. She truly did.
"Mother..." Au'rai turned at the sound of a familiar voice. It was Sahné, Sahné's heart skipped a beat when he laid his eyes on Au'rai, she looked so beautiful. "I see you Au'rai. I see you Tsahik." Sahné greeted Ronal and Au'rai. "All of the seats have been set up, I believe Txana would like to talk to you Tsahik." Sahné told Ronal.
"Very well. Thank you for your help Sahné." Ronal walked out and Mae'len stayed, looking at her son and Au'rai. She knew how Sahné felt about Au'rai and she was honestly a bit upset at how things had turned out between them.
"I'll give you two a minute." Mae'len excused herself before leaving.
"You look gorgeous Syulang." Sahné smiled down at Au'rai.
