Jisoo walked into the office in her usual pantsuit that Jennie required her to wear.
She looked at the slightly parted door separating her desk and Jennie's.
She sighed. I should probably apologize for yesterday.
She walked into the room and found Jennie quickly typing an email.
"Jen—Ms.Kim...could I speak to you for a moment?"
Jennie looked up at her with a neutral expression and nodded. She closed her laptop and looked at Jisoo with her full attention.
"I'm sorry for yesterday." Jisoo began. "That wasn't right of me to put you in that position and I promise to respect you more from now on." She bowed and stayed there until Jennie cleared her throat.
She looked up before standing straight.
Jennie nodded. "It's okay. I forgive you."
Jisoo was momentarily rattled that Jennie didn't say more than that. She was sure Jennie had felt the same connection between them that night. Other than the passion they had shared, Jennie had been the only one to make Jisoo feel something in a long time.
The day before when she had pinned Jennie against the wall and crowded her body, her heart had been racing with...anticipation.
And once that one memory shocked through her, Jisoo spent all night reliving every single moment. All the things she did to the brunette was beyond any desire she had for other girls. She had nearly touched herself before groaning and realizing it was wrong.
"Jisoo?" Jennie snapped her fingers and the raven looked back at the brunette to focus on what she'd been saying.
"I need you to do something."
Jisoo widened her eyes in fear and Jennie quickly held her hands up. "Don't worry! It's reasonable!"
She took out her phone and showed her a picture. "This is my aunt, Soo-young. I want you to pick her up at the airport."
"When?"
"At around 4pm. My dad and I have a meeting and I wanted someone...to go pick her up that was not a servant."
I don't know. She sure treated me like one for 2 weeks.
Jisoo sighed and nodded with a smile.
"Great! You can go and do your work."
Jisoo frowned. "You don't have anything for me to do." Jennie didn't meet her eyes as she replied back with: "Enjoy!"
She took her briefcase and left her office. Jisoo just stood there with a shocked expression.

Jennie leaned her head against the elevator walls. She gave up trying to get revenge on Jisoo. She knew it wasn't just revenge and that it was she was just feeling possessive over a night that happened 5 years ago.
She raised her left hand and saw the clear cut diamond ring.
She had to forget about Jisoo and it would be good to first start putting some distance between them. She was already engaged to be married. There was nothing she could do to call off the wedding and it wasn't appropriate for her to be messing around.
Jisoo is just a memory she cherished for some time.
The elevators opened and she left.

Jennie spent the whole day in meetings with board members, trying to put their company on the market again. It was her alone with her dad's constant nagging about where JJ was and how come the company wasn't doing well.
