Cold blooded 2: More Power

Chapter 1

It's been a while since the incident at Paken academy. A lot of lives were indeed lost that day, but it ignited something within dragon society that's been well known since the first dragon war; animosity.

For these past 10 years, we've had small battles with any human sorcerers we could find. Turns out that those same exact sorcerers aren't just large by group, but they had a name: Satan's hands.

That name sounded like a whole boy band which was enough to humor me. Their power still wasn't to be taken lightly. They had survived this long for a reason. Other than that, me and almost everyone else I knew had gone their own ways.

Mr. Mage, who I now call Mage or Asher, finally had a kid with Alex. I believe they dubbed him as 'Max Magius'. The little bugger had to be at least nine or ten years old. His Rizz is just like his dad's, but he's more of a peacekeeping child.

Leo's whereabouts lie with Lele. 5 years ago Leo was in the brink of insanity, ready to burn down the human race, and even dragon society if he felt like it. Thankfully, Lele happened to wake up right before it was about to happen.

Ever since then, they've been living together in a very isolated location that only me and the Artemis family know about. Mostly because the two visited us often since Lele is also in the Artemis family. Best part is, they got married about a year ago.

Ruby had some personal stuff to take care of at home. Last time she told me, her grandma was fatally ill on her deathbed. Luckily she pulled through, but Ruby had no one else left other than her boyfriend.

Oh and speaking of her boyfriend, she broke up with the one she met at Paken. However, her current boyfriend happened to be... a human. I was skeptical at first, but then I saw that they were together for seven years. Much longer than her last one.

Lucian... last time I ever saw him, he was distraught. Bent on finding away to bring back Faria, and fought me every chance he got. He wasn't even aware of how devastated I was... she was my friend too.

A friend I wanted to grow up with. All of them were really. Then I heard news that Lucian went missing at the span of eight years ago. Along with what else? Faria's dead body. This made Zey Taburn extremely heated.

Speaking of Zey, my former Principal, he's also one of the people planning the war along with Mage and me occasionally. He was bent on revenge at times, but kept a level head when necessary.

As for me? Well... I'm pretty sure you've heard the rumors. I've been living in the Artemis district with Luni's family since they own all the land, but I also kept neighborhood fights from breaking out recklessly.

Doing this for years lent me a well known name for myself... 'King Elsa' is what they nicknamed me. And on top of that, I learned that Chalk had somehow gotten inside my head. Me and Luni searched for ways to get him out, but failed.

So I learned to live with it, and found out that I had more power over him in this situation. He can see what I see, but can't feel what I feel. Sometime later I learned that I was able to manipulate wind now.

I assumed it was because I killed Chalk, but I never really knew how. So the IEDA gave me a trainer to master my new stolen element. I can even make him not see anything. Pretty cool too when I'm-... busy in the sheets.. which barely happens because her father was HOVERING.

All that aside, me and Luni were excited once we found out that Zey had personally finished making our new forever home. And on mating season too? We were over the moon happy, but Luni's dragon blood family feared for me.

Me and Luni had just exited the house of her family, with our bags and suitcases ready to go. I learned how to use wind casually, so I just had mine and Luni's thing carried afloat. "See ya later!" Luni waved her family goodbye. "We'll come by and visit sometime!" I waved my goodbyes too.
