"We've been expecting you." Dad spoke as if everything was fine and dandy. "Wait a minute, Emperor Ali Tenku is your father?" Lis asked me. "Yes, but sometimes I wish he wasn't." I said honestly.

"Now now, you don't mean that-" Dad tried to lay a hand on my shoulder. "Yes the f*ck I do." I smacked his hand away from me. "Do you even know what you caused for me?! FOR MY MOTHER?!" I exclaimed.

"I've been busting my ass off just to make sure that I couldn't drown myself out in dragon society. And on top of that, Mom wasn't the strongest, nor the richest. Yet she still tried as a mother. And oh boy, she did a GOOD DAMN JOB TOO!" I yelled.

"I have been fighting, clawing, and even killing to find my way. I've made friends, I made a name for myself, I even found me a beautiful honey to grow old with. Unlike YOU, WHO LEFT US BEHIND ON THE FIRST DAY!!" I poured out.

"Maybe. Just maybe, if you stayed... she would've still been alive." Tears started to fall down my face. It looked like he wanted to embrace me in a hug, but I think he knew what would happen if he tried that, so all he could do was give me a solemn look.

"Silver... your mother. Versa Gold. Truth be told, she was everything that I hoped for. She truly was wife material son." He dared to say her name. "Then why didn't you stay..?" I gritted.

"She was a human. I was a dragonblood. A dragonblood with a royal responsibility. I needed to keep my image... for the sake of my subjects. It hurt son, it really did.. but I had to go. Who knows what would've happened to her if I did bring her along?" Dad answered.

"Then.. why are there humans outside?" I asked. "When I first heard about your mother's death, I did everything I could to see if you were still alive. Not only were you alive, but you were prospering." Dad replied.

"Since I knew you'd be fine without me, I set my mind towards a new ideology. Other than having sex with strangers to ease the pain, I've been setting up new laws about co-existing with humans. How'd I do that? By reminding them of my power." He pointed at Lis' castle.

I was a little surprised that he was capable of literally freezing fire. Not even 1% of the ice dragon population could do that. I didn't even know if I was capable of that or not. Still, I had nothing else to say.

Silence surrounded us for a vast moment. I had a strong feeling that Lis was giving me a multitude of looks. Sorrow, pity, etc. For my Dad, I could tell that she was feeling a slight hint of anger towards him as well. There was no point.

I sensed enough guilt come from the old man. No point in making him feel worse. "I promise, there will be time to make up for lost memories. For now, I need your help son." Dad tried putting his guilt aside.

I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in reluctance, but I already came this far. I had to hear him out. "Make it quick." I breathed. "Have you heard about the fire devil?" Dad asked me. I raised an eyebrow, but also shook my head.

"That's the nickname for a new fire dragonblood terrorist that's been running amok. She goes by the name of Terra Casanova." Dad named. "Wait, that's the Fire Empress's last name!" I looked at Lis.

"Yes indeed. As shameful as it is, she's my older sister. Ever since she's recently discovered her newly profound and outstanding potential, she's been going insane. Burning everything, and everyone in the north just to demonstrate her power." Lis explained.

Not even another moment later, an explosion was heard from the icy mountains that separated itself from the hot rock on the other side. By the time we all turned around to look, we saw a large smoke cloud float up into the air.

"Speak of the devil, and they shall appear." Dad sighed. I was able to see a smoke covered figure soar over to us. It landed on the ice cold bridge with a crashing sound. The bridge was cracked, but somehow still intact.

Once the hot smoke cleared, that's when I was able to make out the appearance of said figure. A dragonblood to be specific. "Were destroying the other northern kingdoms not enough for you?" Lis implied.

"Nope. Thanks to them, I learned a few things myself in the meantime. Oh yeah, who's the newbie?" Terra asked. "None of your concern." Lis stepped forward, summoning gold and white fire around her body.

"Oh so you're gonna fight me now? Well ain't that a b*tch." The fire at Terra's feet became more and more wild. "Shall we?" Dad stepped beside Lis, punching his fists. "We shall." Lis said as they both rushed up on her.

They both got ready to throw a punch at full strength. Lis gathered her gold and white fire at her fists. And Dad hardened his limbs with solid ice and snow. But Terra did nothing but smile as her fire began to consume her entire body.

Once the two threw their punches at her, a small explosion was caused on the bridge. I was still surprised the bridge held on, but even more surprised by what I saw from Terra. Not only did she catch both of their punches, but she turned into something else entirely.

"I forgot to tell you about the thing I learned. And in case you haven't wondered already, you're basically looking at it." Terra ripped off Dad's arm, and kicked him away, leaving a devastating burn mark on chest, straight through his back.

Luckily, Lis was quick enough to get a few punches in. Lis and Terra fought hand to hand in a power of fire and physicality. Lis even went into Drake form after getting a clean hit on Terra's face. But Terra showed no sign of fear nor pain... just enjoyment.

Once she got bored enough, her fire raged even further compared to Lis' tamed royal flames. She grabbed Lis by the arm, and slammed her through the bridge, making her fall all the way down to the ground.

And to make matters worse, Terra spewed a big fireball at her. Then... BOOM! I could tell Lis tried to block the impact, but the cold environment did not help. Lis' strength was getting sucked out, and this environment was her weakness.

I couldn't say the same for Terra. Even through the cold, her flames still wouldn't settle. Finally, she brought her gaze towards me. The guards ran away for their lives. "Do you wanna dance too?" Terra asked.
