Baby Stuff

Jenna and Jude were in bed asleep on judes day off then they were rudely awoken to a knock at the door. Jenna flipped over and slapped her hand in judes face. "Can you go and get it." Jenna said as she accidentally smaked him. "Ow!" Jude winced and held his nose. "Oh sorry." Jenna said trying to fuss over him and make sure he was ok. "Its fine." Jude said quickly getting up as the doorbell rang once again. "Im coming!" He shouted as he tiredly ran to the door. He swung the door open to see a delivery man there with three large boxes. "Hey mate how are you?" Jude greeted the man. "Good, we just have three boxes from Ikea that you ordered, would you like us to bring them in for you?" The man asked. "Ah, yes please, just this way." Jude said as he held the door open for the man who wheeled in the first box. "Anywhere specific?" He asked Jude. "Um, yeah, just this way." Jude led him to the nursery. They dropped off the box and went to collect the second and left the third just outside jude and jennas bedroom. Once they were done, Jude thanked the man and her left.

They had already bought all their stuff, and the furniture they bought was already in the nursery, the last thing to come was from Ikea and that was the crib for their room and the one for the nursery as well as the changing table. Jude walked back into their bedroom and layed down next to jenna who had gone back to sleep. "Hey." Jude softly said to Jenna before giving her a kiss to wake her up. "Mhm." Jenna replied as her eyes fluttered open. "The cribs and change table arrived, so let's get up and get that done so the nursery is complete yeah?" Jude smiled. "Mkay." Jenna giggled as Jude leaned in and gave her a kiss. They eventually got out of bed and got dressed into sweats. They had a quick bite to eat before they got to work.

"I think we should start with the changing table." Jude said looking at the two boxes in front of him. "Agreed." Jenna laughed as she opened the box, pulled out the instructions and sat down on her chair. "Ah no, you need to do some help." Jude exclaimed. "I have been helping for the last eight months." Jenna laughed and rubbed her bump. Jude walked over to jenna and bobbed down to his knees and kissed her bump, "And I am forever grateful for that, but I do need your help." Jude said giving her bump another kiss before standing up to give her a kiss. "Ok" jenna said as they kissed. They pulled away and got to work. Sorting out all of the peices and then constructing the table. Once they were done the table, they were hungry so they got some lunch before heading back Into the nursery. "I dont understand why we are putting this crib up now if the baby is going to be sleeping in the other crib in our room for a while?" Jenna said to Jude. "So it's done and we don't have to worry about it later." Jude replied as he opened the box. As they got to work, the pair started to argue about different things, what piece went where, who was right and other things. "You know what Jude, im sick of this, you finish this, I can't be fucking bothered." Jenna yelled at Jude. "The fuck did I do wrong." Jude furrowed as jenna walked out of the the room and into the loungeroom where she started to watch TV.

Jude finished the crib in the nursery and then in their room before he went out to the couch where Jenna was sitting. He sat down next to Jenna. "Can I give you a hug?" Jude asked her cautiously incase she was still angry. She sighed and Jude hugged her. He kissed her head then rest his on her head. "May I ask why you went off at me earlier?" Jude asked. "Because I am so tired, I'm just angry, my hormones are all over the place and I just have had enough. I shouldn't have gone off at you and I am so sorry." Jenna replied into judes chest as she hugged him. "Its all good. Do you want to see the final results. The nursery is now done and our room is practically ready for the baby to arrive." Jude smiled as he got off the couch. She smiled and followed him as she lead him to the nursery. "Its amazing,  I love it." Jenna smiled, she turned to Jude and kissed him. He then showed her the crib in their room. Which got the same reaction. They went to bed that night with another job ticked off their list.
