The First Full Day at Home as 3

Jenna and Jude were both asleep, it was 1am in the morning and the house was silent, until the shrill sound of Tobi crying work them both up. "Do you want me to get him?" Jude asked Jenna as he sat up. "Yeah." Jenna yawned and got up to get a blanket and feeding pillow, then got back into bed. Jude walked across the room to Tobi's cot, picked him up, then walked over to jenna "Here you go." Jude said while handing Tobi to her. Jude got into bed and put his head on jennas shoulder as she started to feed Tobi. "He's the best thing to ever happen to me you know?" Jude said while looking at his son. "Same, I don't think I could love anyone more than him." Jenna replied turning to look at Jude. "I love you." Jenna said as Jude kissed her. "I love you too." Jude kissed her again then pulled away. " Jude put his arm around Jenna as he watched his son. "I reckon he will be a baller." Jude said after a while of silence. "What position?" Jenna chuckled. "Um, mabye, a goalie." Jude replied. "Interesting, but I do see that for him." Jenna smiled while looking at her son. After 15 mins, Tobi changed sides. "I don't want to sound cringe but I'm just so in love with you guys." Jude said half asleep. "It isn't cringe at all, I love you both so much as well. I think it's good that we say we love eachother rather than be fighting." Jenna replied while pulling her head into the crook of judes neck. She finished feeding tobi and handed him to Jude so that he could be burped, then went off to clean herself. She then came back into the room where Jude had just gotten Tobi back to sleep. "Please can he just sleep here, I don't want him to wake up when up put him down in the cot." Jude pleaded. "Its not safe, you or I might squash him, then we won't have a baby at all." Jenna said while giving Jude a sympathetic look. "I'll put him down if you want" jenna then asked. Jude nodded . She walked over and gently took her son from judes arms. She slowly walked over to the cot and laid him down gently, not once did he stir, she put the blankets over him, kissed him on his head and went back to her bed. "I couldn't of done that." Jude said while hugging her.

The next day was one of the hottest days that Liverpool was to expect that summer, with it reaching a top of 39°C. Jude woke up at 8 from the heat. He got out of bed and turned the air-conditioning on in thr house then went back to his room where jenna had woken up. "Good morning." Jude said as he got back into bed with jenna. "Good morning, how are you?" Jenna asked before kissing him. "I'm great, how about you?" Jude then replied. "I'm ok, tired and sore mainly but I'm ok." Jenna said as she was pulled into a hug. "Is Tobi awake yet?" Jenna asked. "Um, I don't know." Jude got up and went over to the cot to see Tobi waking up. "Morning buddy, how are you today." Jude said picking him up. He walked over and sat in bed with jenna and tobi. "I think that he is ready to have some skin to skin contact." Jenna said looking at her son. "Well then, here you go." Jude gave Tobi to jenna and got out of bed. "Where are you going?" Jenna asked. "I'm going to make us some breakfast, I will have my skin to skin time later. Now what do you want for breakfast" Jude asked. "Um, whatever you want, I don't mind." Jenna replied. Jude nodded and walked out of the the room. He made himself a coffee then made jenna and himself avocado toast. When he was done he walked back into his room where he saw tobi lying on Jennas chest as she hummed a tune to him. "I was about to say breakfast is ready but it can wait" Jude whispered as he got into bed next to her. Jenna looked up at Jude and smiled. Jude kissed jenna for a while before pulling away. "Can you get the wrap, so I can go eat breakfast and not wake him up." Jenna quietly asked. Jude nodded and got the wrap. He helped to put it on her. Once done  he got her robe for her and they walked out to the kitchen to eat breakfast. "Do you want to help give him a bath after were done here?" Jenna asked while taking a bite of her toast. "Of course." Jude said finishing of his breakfast. "I'll go and run the bath now." Jude said while getting up and making his way to the bathroom. "Make sure the waters 38 degrees." She said. "I know." Jude said as he turned on the tap. After a few minutes, Jenna brought Tobi to the bathroom where she and Jude started to bathe him. "He's the cutest thing that I have ever seen." Jenna said putting her hand on her heart. Jude smiled as he wiped Tobi's head with a wet cloth. Once they had finished giving him a bath, they got dressed for the day. Jude decided to wear shorts and a training singlet. Jenna put on an essentials top and shorts and put Tobi in one of his lightweight liverpool onsies.
