Bucky knew that Warner didn't want to see him, but that didn't deter him from pulling up to the apartment complex.

Three minutes later, he was knocking on Warner's door, sighing in relief when Rebecca opened it. At least Warner wasn't alone. "Can I see him?" Bucky wouldn't normally ask, he didn't have to, he owned the building, and had Warner in his inner circle. If Bucky wanted the man to do something, he just commanded it. But he also knew the heartache Warner was going through, because he felt it as well. Rebecca looked over her shoulder, waiting for what Bucky assumed was an answer from Warner, only to push the door open wider when she got what she was looking for.

Warner's apartment was what Bucky's once looked like. Minimal and manly, a wall of windows covered the side of the apartment showing the vast city lights below, building offered what could be considered a golden sea, ambient and peaceful in a city that's buried with crime. Those roads saw blood, those stores saw the demons that weren't afraid to hide. And Bucky was the master of it all.

"I told you I needed time off."

Warner was disheveled as Bucky pulled his eyes away from the window, landing on his brother in law that was sitting on the couch, the top buttons of his dress shirt undone with his tie hanging loosely on both sides, two pieces of fabric to frame the tattoos on his chest. "I'm not taking that away from you," Bucky tried to steel his voice, but the small tremble in it made Rebecca sit on the arm of the chair Bucky sank into, wrapping him up in a side hug, "I just wanted to let you know we have received footage from Jersey, she was taken in a cargo plane," Rebecca's chin rested on the top of his head, and he couldn't help but sink into his sisters embrace, "I figured it was better that I told you in person than over the phone, I'm getting ready to head to Jersey to get information."

"Was she hurt?"

Bucky's eyes closed to try and stop the tears from falling. He knew everyone in this room believed that he had no emotions. But Addison was his everything. He shoved her so far away that it resulted in her getting kidnapped, he was shouldering the blame. No one could convince him it wasn't his fault. If he had just stayed in bed, just held her, she would be here. She would be in his arms and on his ass for things he was avoiding. But Addison would be here, and she would be safe. "She looked like she was drugged," he couldn't help it, he broke, his body folding in as tears finally fell down his cheeks, "She knew who she was with."

Rebecca sank down into the chair beside him, Bucky's arms encircling his sister's waist as he sobbed into her shoulder. "It's my fault." The words were broken as they left his lips, it was the first time he had shown vulnerability to anyone else but Rebecca. Even Addison hadn't seen tears fall from his eyes. Rebecca just sat there, silently stroking the back of his head while she looked over at Sam who nodded, walking into the kitchen to get some water for Bucky. "I came to ask," Bucky stuttered out, sucking air harshly into his lungs, "I came to ask if you wanted to come to Jersey with me, to get answers."

Warner was blinking rapidly, trying to make sense of the situation playing out in front of him, and instead of replying to his question right away, "It's not your fault," fell from his lips.

Before Bucky could talk, Warner continued, "I know I snapped, but I was just scared. We all love Addison, you and I may be a little more than the rest. But it's not fair to blame you," he let out a shaky breath, "she could've been taken from under any of our noses, it wasn't right for me to insinuate that it was your fault. I'm sorry, and yes I want to go to Jersey with you to get answers. I want to bring my little sister home."

Ten minutes later, everyone was loading up into a bulletproof SUV Bucky had dropped off at the complex. Warner sat in the passenger seat, and Sam, Rebecca, and Steve sat in the back. "Addison knows these people," Bucky explained as he pushed the gear shift into reverse, backing out of the parking lot before slamming the shift into drive and taking off towards Jersey. It didn't take Warner long to pinpoint what airport the plane took off from, running a few traces back from the video and landing on the airport frequented by Sons of Lucifer members. "Keegan swears it's not his chapter and honestly I believe him." Bucky looked over to Warner who nodded along.
