Addison reveled in the feeling of home.
Her actual home, not the cabin she'd been forced to hide in or the family home where memories of betrayal still haunted her. But the penthouse that she and Bucky shared. With the floor-to-ceiling windows which let the golden lights cascade into the living room, making the floor look like a sea of stars. The home that she woke up in after years of living in torment, to a face that had become so closely linked with her sanity, and her safety. Addison had never felt like a stranger in these four walls, it never felt like a gilded cage, but rather, it was a second chance at life.
She let the leather jacket she was wearing fall to the floor as she walked to the windows, staring out at a city that held so much promise, and so much despair.
Addison pressed her palm to the glass, watching as condensation formed against the cold surface. Proof that she was living, that she survived the mess she found herself in time and time again. Addison was a survivor, she always had been. But now, she didn't want to just survive, she wanted to live. But in order for her to do that, she had to face a new demon, Vaughn Novikov, her grandfather-in-law. Monster-in-law felt more appropriate. She had let men win time and time again, but not this time. This time she would rescue Mila and Luella, she would let them have a chance at life. A real chance.
Addison's eyes closed as Bucky wrapped his arms around her from behind. He was by no means perfect, but he tried, and that was more than anyone had ever given her. So she let her weight rest against his chest and smiled as his lips pressed against her throat, kissing a scar she was sure had only become more apparent over the years. Bucky was broken, sure, his mother died in front of him, but her broken pieces blended with his almost perfectly, too perfect, it was like they were placed on this planet for one another. He had his flaws, but he always came for her. He always fought for her.
It was that memory that made her tilt her head, letting his mouth catch hers in a kiss.
Bucky was sweet with his kiss this time, it wasn't rushed, and there was no clash of teeth. It was sensual, his mouth devouring her from outside in, pouring his entire soul into her body. A promise, she realized as he licked her bottom lip, to be everything she ever wished for. He already was, but as she turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull herself closer, she let him in, let him feel the desperation, the need, the longing. So many days apart, so many days of torment in between them. She wanted him to be who he was, her best friend, her husband, her entire world.
No words were spoken as Bucky pulled away, pulling her shirt over her head and tossing it on the couch behind them. She worked on his belt, yanking it free and going to drop it before Bucky grabbed it from her, looping it to make a binding, sliding his hands through before looking at her. "Show me what you need," She blinked as he spoke, "Show me what you need me to be for you."
She slid her hands between the leather and his hands, linking their fingers together, "I need you to be mine," A soft whisper against the stubble of his cheek, "I need you to be mine in every sense of the word. I need your heart, your mind, your soul. I need it all."
She worked the leather free from around their hands, Bucky's eyes watching it fall. He realized she didn't want control, she didn't want him to be at her mercy. She just wanted him. His heart.
She held it, but Bucky reached for her jeans, popping the button and pulling them down her legs, undoing his own pants before laying her down on the hardwood, in the pool of glimmering lights from the city. One of her hands came up, cupping his cheek and the other slid into his hand, Bucky smiled at Addison, warm and full of love as he parted her thighs, leaning down to kiss her softly, smiling wider when her thumb traced the shape of his cheek.
