A Brush of Love

TW: needles,blood,drugs (but like the wisdom tooth kind)

Karl woke up with a pain in his tooth. Karl had always had a sweet tooth and his favorite candy was hard candy. But he always bit down on his candy and once time about 5 days ago he think he had chipped his tooth. He would tell his husband, Sapnap, to take him to the dentist but Sapnap is the dentist.Also Karl knew he would have to get this tooth taken out and that means he has to get a pain killer in his lip, he has seen his husband do it before. Karl was deathly afraid of needles and could not stand getting one anywhere, and he has to get one in his lip? No way.

Karl woke up with Sapnap beside him,"Good morning Darling." Sapnap said while waking up. Karl muffled back a good morning back because of this tooth that has been hurting for 5 days now. "No kiss back? You always give me a kiss back." Sapnap said giving him a another kiss wanting one in return. Sapnap was right, Karl always gave hima kiss back anytime. But it hurt even to scrunch his lips to form a kissing shape. Karl sighed and tried to form a kiss but silently ached in pain. He finally gave him a kiss on the cheek. Sapnap smiled and got up and headed downstairs to make breakfast. Karl stayed in their room a bit taking a pain killer gummy, because one he can't stand swallowing a pill, and two he still is a sweet tooth. But the gummies took VERY long to kick in and were even more painful to chew.

Karl finally went downstairs and saw Sapnap made Pancakes, eggs, and bacons, no Karl favorite food. Karl had been eating soft foods like yogurt and smoothies to fill him up in the day. Sapnap placed the food on the plate,"Finally your up, come on and eat." Sapnap said. "Uh thank you so much for the offer but I'm good." Karl said. "Come on darling I made this plate for you, and besides you have only been eating soft foods like a big baby." Sapnap joked sitting next to him on the island table. "Uh no I'm good." Karl said quietly. Karl then felt a sudden pain in his tooth, "AH!" Karl yelled in pain. "What's wrong darling?!" Sapnap said wordily grabbing the back on his husbands back and rubbing it. "Oh-uh i-its nothing" Karl said holding his cheek. "No it's something, come on don't lie to be what's wrong?" Sapnap said. "Okay but don't be mad or laugh at me." Karl said.Sapnap promised. "Okay so you know how I am a sweet tooth and love cand, and I know you hate me being a sweet tooth but I was eating candy and bit into it. I know you are supposed to suck it but I bit into it and I think I chipped my tooth and I'm sorry I hid it from you baby, but your a dentist and I knew I would have to get it fixed." Karl explained. Sapnap rubbed his back,"Oh baby, how long ago was this?" He asked. "5 days ago." Karl said. "5 days? Yeah I need to take you in the clinic i can't have you in pain for any longer." Sapnap said. "I know but then I would have to get it removed and you have to putt a filler in and that means pain killer and pain killer means a shot." Karl said. Sapnap was both shocked that he knew what had to be done and also a little upset because he knew that Karl was right. He knew that Karl had to get a shot and he knew his husband hated needles. "I'm sorry but your right darling you do need a removal and a cast. But one shot is better than being in pain for more days." Sapnap said. 

Sapnap made an appointment and took Karl to his office. They are now in the waiting room and Karl's leg was bouncing up and down. "Hey its okay, my best friend Dr. Jack is doing it, so I can be by your side." Karl nodded still not looking at him. "Uh Karl Jacobs?" The nurse said. Karl and Sapnap stood up. "Oh I didn't know you were working today." The nurse said. "Oh no I'm here with my husband, he chipped is tooth." Sapnap said. "Great, I knew I recognized that last name, I thought it was a coincidence." She said and they both smiled.

Karl and Sapnap made it to the room and saw Dr.Jack. "Hey Dr.Jacobs!" Jack said. "Please call me Sapnap I am off duty." Sapnap laughed. Jack laughed. But Karl he was still standing up in the background, "Uh you know when you walk in you have to sit down right?" Sapnap joked. All Karl was thinking off was this one shot, that he hated badly. Karl snapped out his thoughts as he slowly sat down in the chair. "Okay uh Karl Jaco-. Oh wait you're this idiots husband! He talks about you all the time to every patient and I think they specifically asked not to get him again." Jacke joked. Karl put on a fake smile, in which Sapnap could tell was from nerves. Sapnap reached out and held his hand and placed a kiss on it. Karl looked over to the table beside him and saw all the needles laid out. Karl shook his head and started getting up out of his seat trying to leave,"Woah woah woah. Karl said you can't leave we haven't even started." Sapnap said sort of laughing at this. "Sapnap I-I can't do this there is no way I can-" Karl started. "Babe you literally in pain for 5 days straight you can take 5 seconds." Sapnap said placing karl down back in the seat.

Dr. Jack then layed the chair back and got ready, while Karls eyes widened as he was going back and Sapnap got up and held his hand. "Alright I am going to put this little shot in your lip for a pain killer so when I take the tooth out it won't hurt one bit. Then in about a week you will come out to me again to get the crowning and fake tooth in."Dr. Jack said putting his gloves on. Karl took deep breaths and at this point his hand was squeezing his husbands hand while it was shaking uncontrollably. Sapnap didn't mind that his husband was almost literally cutting his circulation off in his hand. Karl saw the needle come closer and closer to him and his hand started shaking more. He closed his eye, and then the needle was touched with his skin and injected. Karl made a scream in his mouth. Sapnap rubbed his hand. 

The rest of it was to take out the tooth which Karl had to admit didn't hurt because of the pain killer. They were finally done and they put in a gauze in his bloody mouth. "Alright we are finished.Wasn't so bad right?" Dr. Jack said. "Yeuh itws wassn't so bwad." Karl said trying to talk.Sapnap laughed at this and helped him out of his chair. They used the same drugs aas windom teeth removal so he was a little topsy. "Wait who are you? Where am I?" Karl said sitting on the edge of the chair. "I'm your husband Sapnap." Sapnap chuckled. "Ohh my lovee hii how are you?" Karl said standing up.Sapnap laughed again he said thank you to the Dr and lead Karl to the car. Sapnap helped him in the car.

"Wheres are wes gowing?" Karl said. "We are going home my love." Sapnap said. "Home? I live with yowe?" Karl said. Sapnap chuckled. They made it home and Sapnap helped Karl up the stairs to their bedroom. "Why am I in jweans?" Karl said. "Hold on I am getting your pajamas." Sapnap said heading to the closet and placing Karl on the edge of the bed. Sapnap got Karl his matching button up pajama set with his initials. Sapnap walked up to him, "Woah what are ywoe doweing?" Karl asked. "Well you wanted to get out of jeans so I am helping you do that." Sapnap laughed. "But you will have to see me with no clothes onwn." Sapnap chuckled, "I'm your husband remember, I have seen you with out clothes on." It looked like something clicked in Karl's brain so he let Sapnap change him. Sapnap was taking off his sweater and Karl talked more and more about random things. Then Sapnap ook off his "jweans" and put his pajama pants on. "Come on Karl lets get you led  down." Sapnap said pushing him down on the bed and putting the blanket on. "I wove you." Karl said. Sapnap sighed and smiled,"I love you too." He said then placed a kiss on his lips and watched as Karl dosed to sleep.
