Sapnap was in his room coding something for a video when Karl came in. Sapnap still stared at his computer while Karl wrapped his arms around the chair and Sapnap's  shoulder. "Hi." Karl said. "Hi my love." Sapnap said looking at his computer still. Karl turned Sapnap's chair so that he was facing him and sat on the edge of the bed in the room. "So like your my husband right?" Karl asked. "Last time I checked I was." Sapnap said smiling and looking at his ring. "And you like love me and stuff right?" Karl asked. "Yeah I totally love you and stuff." Sapnap said mocking his tone, but also wondering what will his husband ask of him. "So you would do whatever it takes to make me happy right?""Of course I would. But Karl, what do you want?" Sapnap asked. "Okay well there is this ball for my family. Like a really fancy family reunion, and like all my family from the country is coming to this. But it's basically full of rich snobs  in a room bragging about how much money they make. The reason I ask you because I know you hate having to dress in a tux and tie, and you hate being around my snobby family." Karl asked nervously. 

Karl grew up in a really rich family. He went to private schools, got everything he wanted, and everytime he moved is just because his parents wanted a even bigger mention to live in. Karl was the only child so he didn't really understand why the wanted such big houses just for him and his family but he didn't complain. He met Sapnap when he was 16 when he was at a park alone sitting on a bench and Sapnap fell in front of him. Weird yes, but from then on Karl would go to the park everyday after school to visit him. Sapnap was on the opposite side of the social class though. He had 4 siblings but lived in a small 2 bedroom house that his parents could barely keep up. Karl was always worried that Sapnap might not like him for who he is, but for hi s parents so Karl didn't introduce him to his family until his parents begged him to introduce him to this new lover. And when they got engaged Karl's parents begged them to help them plan this beautiful wedding in Bahamas. The wedding was really expensive to Sapnap but Karl's parents paid for all of it. To be honest Karl's parents were the richest in the whole family and everyone knew so. And in this family reunion Karl knew he would have to go on and on talking about himself. And to be honest Karl and Sapnap lived in a medium sized house in the suburbs. Yes Karl did have money,like a lot of money, in his bank account. But he didn't feel the need to get a big house just for him and Sapnap, all he needed was Sapnap. But Karl did use his money to start a business on his own, his business was doing so well he didn't really have to do much for it because he hired other people to do it. So him and Sapnap did get to go on a lot of vacations with their friends just to enjoy themselves.

"I don't know Karl. Your family probably thinks I am a nobody." Sapnap said responding to Karl. "No they don't! My parents wouldn't have spent so much money on our wedding if they didn't care about you." Karl said. "No they only did it because they care about YOU. I mean when we to our own house they were practically  begging us to get a way bigger house." Sapnap said rolling his eyes. Karl sighed , he didn't want to make Sapnap do anything he didn't want to. But Sapnap didn't want Karl to wait a whole other year or two to see all his family again, and he didn't want to see his husband be sad because of him. "Okay I'll go. Only for you though." Karl looked up and smiled and gave him a big hug followed by a kiss. "Oh thank you my love! I promise you don't even have to say anything I'll do all the talking. And we won't even be there for that long." Karl explained. 

So the next day they prepared themselves to go to this snobby party. Karl was in the mirror fixing his hair when Sapnap came in fully dressed in his tux and tie. "I don't know should I wear a tie, or a bow tie, or maybe just a loose tie?" Karl said looking at himself in the mirror. "What ever you wear you would look amazing in." Sapnap said wrapping his arms around Karl's waist. Karl smiled, "Thank you but that didn't help." He said. Karl decided to match with Sapnap and wear a tie. The two were wearing blue tux's with black ties. While Karl had buttoned one button to show his silver chain underneath that matched his wedding ring. 

They made it to the venue and already saw how big this ball room was. Karl took a deep breath and Sapnap but his arm out and Karl put his hand through Sapnap's arm. Karl looked around and saw his parents at a round table with some aunts and uncles. They walked over to the table and Karl's parents, Charles and Jenny smiled and stood up. Jenny gave Karl a hug, "Karl, Sapnap! Glad you made it!" she said. Karl smiled and they sat down. Karl's aunt and uncle, Lucy and Josh looked at them confused. Karl's parents had told them that Karl was married but I guess not that he was married to a man. "So uh you guys together?" Josh asked. "Yes sir." Karl said. "Oh how nice. How long?" Lucy said blankly. "Well we have been together since we were 16. So about 9 years together." Karl said smiling and ignoring the sort of rudeness in her voice. "Where did you get married. Who proposed how does that work." his uncle asked. "Um Sapnap proposed at this park were we met with a ring pop actually. I am a really sweet tooth and rings are quite expensive, so I got a ring myself. And uh my parents got us a wedding in Bahamas." I said. They looked confused. "You bought a ring after? Why couldn't Sapnap get a good ring?" His aunt asked. "Well-" "Actually let Sapnap answer." She asked. Karl looked at Sapnap but Sapnap nodded signalling he was okay answering the question. "Well my family doesn't have that much money so I couldn't afford a nice engagement ring. But Karl enjoyed it fine." Sapnap said nervously. "So how do I know your not just using him here for this families money?" The uncle asked.  At this point Karl and Sapnap were getting angry about these personal and weird questions they were asking. "I promise I would never do that. I actually didn't know about the money until a year after we started dating." Sapnap said defending himself. Lucy and Josh looked at each other and hummed. But Karl started fiddling with his nail polish and Sapnap and his parents noticed. Sapnap reached a hand over on top of Karl's to make him stop. "You know what I think this is enough questions for my son and son in law." Karl's mother said.

The rest of the party they spent walking around talking to some other family members, who were way nicer. Not to mention the amazing steak they had for dinner. Karl and Sapnap just felt out of place the whole time and couldn't wait till it was over.

Well everyone started leaving and they were outside waiting for their uber. Karl's mom came up to them, "I hope you too had a nice time. I do apologize for the way my sister and her husband were acting though." She said rubbing Karl's back. "No its fine. Thanks for inviting us." Karl said smiling. He gave her a hug when their uber pulled up. They waved goodbye and got in the car. "So did you at least tolerate the party?" Karl asked Sapnap. "Yeah it was okay. But maybe we can skip it next year." Sapnap joke. Karl laughed.

A/n: don't know how I feel bout this one but hope you like it. I didn't want to be irrelevant and I wanted to post something new to you guys!I didn't know what else to add for the ball dialog so if you have ideas I will do it. Also If I ever make typos or something please comment were the mistake is! I want you guys to understand the story lol.
