Locker Code

Karl was new to his high school, well he was new to school in general. He had been homeschooled his entire life. His parents just thought it would be better if he skipped going through elementary school and middle school just for him. But it did cause Karl to miss out on a lot of things and not really have that much friends and when he did go around people he had major social anxiety. But his parents really wanted him to be able to have an official high school diploma and overall get his high school experience. But of course he was already 16 so he would be placed in 10th grade and not to mention it was october so everyone already knew each other. He had no idea what to do or how to socialize with anyone. 

It was 7 in the morning when Karl's alarm went off. Not what he was used to but he got up and made sure to get in the shower and put on his outfit which was an anime sweater and black pants with black panda dunks. Once he walked downstairs he saw his parents cooking his favorite breakfast food,pancakes. "Are you ready love?" His mom asked. "I guess. Are you sure I have to go though?" Karl asked taking a bite of his food. "Yes son you need to have a proper experience and degree." His dad responded picking up his knife and cutting his food. Karl sighed while his mom checked the time. "Well it's time to get going. Do you want me to drive you?" his mom asked grabbing her keys. "No thank you. I can drive myself." Karl said but in all reality he didn't want his mom driving him to school on his first day.

Once he made it to school, well 10 minutes late because he didn't know where the school is, he saw everyone talking and at their lockers. In the email he got he was told to go to the office but he had no idea where it is. So he went up to a dirty blond guy wearing green, "Hey uh where is the office?" Karl asked. "Uh it's right there the room that says office on it." He said with a chuckle. Karl nodded and rushed to the office after the semi embarrassing moment. Once he got to the office he was greeted by a man in a collared suit and nice pants who he assumed was the principal. "Hey you must be our new student Karl Jacobs right?! Here follow me to my office." The man said with a smile while Karl nodded as he held on to his backpack straps. Once they made it to the office which was full on Florida University merchandise, family photos, and school supplies Karl was getting more nervous. The principal started to explain all the things and all his classes he would be in in really he wasn't listening. "Karl, Karl? Are you okay?" The principal asked. "Oh uh yeah but can you repeat that last part?" Karl asked. "Yeah sure I gave you a locker code under those papers and to open it you go all around fully then you go left to enter the first number go right but pass your second number then left to the second and finally to the third and turn to open." He explained. Karl nodded even though he had no idea what he said but didn't want to waste his time. 

Once he made it back to the hallways which were sort of not as messy and filled with chaos. He went to his locker and placed down his backpack to lock through his stack of papers but of course dropped them. "Shit" He silently yelled to himself and started to pick up his papers when suddenly a hand hit his. He looked up and was greeted by pretty blue eyes at first. As he further examined his body he saw he had a chain hanging from his neck and you could slightly she in the inside of his shirt and Karl blushed. "Oh my god thank you so much. I'm new to this." Karl said as the guy held some of his papers. "It's all good I'm Sapnap" Sapnap said and Karl smiled. "What do you mean your new at this?" Sapnap asked out of curistoy. "I'm new to school in general. I have been homeschooled my whole life." Karl said shyly. "Aww I wish I was homeschooled. But what were you looking for?" Sapnap asked looking through his stack of papers in his hand. "I was looking for my locker code that was supposed to be in these papers. But I still don't know how to open though." Karl explained looking in his stack of papers. Sapnap finally pulled out a paper, "Oh here it is" he said. he looked at the paper and entered the code that was there and opened his locker easily. Sapnap smiled but and gave him all his papers back except the one with the code. Karl narrowed his eyes, "Are you going to give me my code?" Karl said placing his things in his locker." Sapnap smiled, "Maybe I'll tell you at a lunch sometime? But for now I can open it." Karl's eyes opened he had never really been asked out like this. "Uh sure I would love to go out with you sometime. I mean uh- go out at the same place and stuff." Karl said with a chuckle. Sapnap smiled and asked for his number and they exchanged numbers.
