Karl and Sapnap were friends years before the way the acted now. For some odd reason they both stopped hanging out at 13. A weird age to stop hanging out, right?They were friends since diapers, they knew each other better than they thought they knew themselves. Well actually that's the reason why they broke apart. They were figuring things out about themselves and realised they weren't straight.Not only were they not straight but they liked the other person. So first Sapnap realised he liked guys, or at least Karl. So he slowly cut him out of his life sadly. Karl on the other hand sort of new he was completely gay when he was a little younger. He really liked Sapnap back. But instead of keeping in touch, they ignored their feelings like most 13 year olds. 

Karl and Sapnap were now 16 and to be honest they get into a lot of trouble. They go to the same school and it was like they were competing to be the baddest person in the school. First Sapnap insulted teachers because he blamed him for getting a bad grade. But Karl did more, he insulted the principal. They both got detention,actually the same day but they didn't talk to each other because Sapnap was thinking of the next big thing to do. So the next week he started a fight with some random dude just to be better than Karl. Karl was quite furious about this, so of course he did something bigger and better. Karl punched a teacher. Karl got suspended for 5 days, but Sapnap's fight got him suspended for 4, so I guess you could say he was winning? At this point they both wanted to do something not big, but huge. They wanted to do something outside of school. They wanted to be the best of the worse you could say. Karl was 'winning' but he wanted to stay ahead, Sap was 'losing' so he needed to catch up.

So actually somehow they got the same idea, vandalize the statue in the town square. The statue was the thing that for some reason the thing everyone in the town loved. I mean I guess they could see why everyone loved it, they did a running marathon just to raise enough money to get the thing. 

So that night they both got everything planned. Not to mention it took a big portion of their money to get the spray paint, not that any of them can draw they maybe just wanted to do some scribbles and write their name on it. It was about 9:30 and they both packed the paint,flashlights, a black bandana, and all black clothes. As you can see they were more alike then they thought. What they didn't see was that they were still pushing down their feelings towards each other. They knew what they were doing with this little 'competition'. They still liked,well loved each other. Maybe the showed it in another way. 

Anyways, they snuck out their house and ran to town square. Karl made it there first and took out his spray paint. Sapnap saw another figure and flashed his light, "HEY! Who are you what are you doing?" He asked. "Dude just go away before you get in trouble." Karl said still not turning around to face Sapnap. "Well what if I am trying to get in trouble?" Sapnap said approaching Karl. "Dude I mean it fuck off- Sapnap?" Karl said finally turning around. Sapnap scoffed, "of course your here? What are you vandalizing this?" he asked annoyed he had the same idea as him. "Yeah and I was here first so move." Karl said turning back to his plan. "No you move! you just got a point." Sapnap said quickly getting a paint bottle out of his bag. They both started shoving each other and started to apply the paint. The statue was covered in orange and purple scribbles all over. "HEY! YOU TWO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" A man from the background said.Sapnap and Karl looked at each other,sighed, and turned around. They were faced by 2 police officers. Sapnap and Karl rose their dirty hands in the air. The policemen approached them, "You are under arrest for trespassing, vandalism of public property and destruction of private property. How old are you boys?" The officer said taking out his handcuffs putting it on Karl while the other put some on Sapnap. "We are both 16 sir" Sapnap said. "Well you sure are lucky for it. As soon as you boys turn 18 you will be charged on an adult level rather than juvenal. Right now you are only facing detention in a big cell until your parents get you. Your parents can have the option to leave you there for maximum of 3 nights to learn your lesson." The officer explained. The officers put them both in the same car and took them to the station.
