Karl had recently moved out of state to take a major job opportunity. And this opportunity was very successfully. Karl was now rich and famous and as much as people would think he would brag he doesn't. Karl was really humble and was actually super nice to people. But recently he got a letter from his parents that said they wanted him to come back home. Karl of course loved his family but there was some things he didn't like about them. For one they didn't want him back until he had all this money and his own company. For two they were horrible homophobic. Karl had recently found himself as gay and no one knew. . But he was still looking foward just for him to have that hometown feeling. 

Karl just flew in and was at the airport to find his parents and his brothers waiting there with smiles on their faces with a sign that said "Welcome Home Carl!" Karl smiled back but was embarrassed that his own family didn't spell his name right. "Hey guys it's nice to see you." Karl said giving a hug to his mom followed by his brothers. "It's good to see you too Karl. How come you haven't visited more often?" His mom said. Karl could see right through his mom he knew she just wanted some money. "Uh yeah I'm busy you know. And California is really far so it's not that easy to just pick up a flight and leave to come to North Carolina." Karl said not liking he had to be with this family for 2 weeks now. "Karl how is it to be rich?" One of his brothers asked. "Shaun that is not appropriate to ask! I'm sorry Karl." His dad said. "No it's fine." Karl said putting on a fake smile. He didn't remember his family being so fake. 

Once they made it home they treated Karl like he was some prince or something. They took his bags, carried them upstairs, and even gave him the master bedroom. Karl insisted that he would not be treated differently but they insisted. 

It was time for dinner and Karl, His 2 brothers, and his parents were sitting at the table. "So Karl how is California?" His mom asked. "It's amazing. The people, the beaches, and just the vibe of it all is so fun." Karl said actually having fun. His mom hummed. "So how was your flight?" his dad asked. "It was good but some dude was snoring quite loud next to me." Karl said laughing. "Oh you didn't fly first class? and I thought you had your own jet?" His mom asked. "Uh yes I have my own jet but I only use it when I go out of country. And I don't see anything wrong with flying commercial when you are going to see your family." Karl said getting angry his family keeps talking about money. Karl came to have fun he wanted to have a family who sees him for he is." Well maybe you should give it to me." His mom said laughing like something was funny. "So son, have you found someone special yet? Gotta be careful not to find a girl who likes you for you." His dad mentioned. "Uh no I don't have anyone right now." Karl said trying to finish his food quicker. "You should visit more often Karl. You know I have done I lot for you it wouldn't hurt to visit. Or just give us some money." His mom said completely changing the subject. Karl at this point was done, "Look I don't owe you guys anything okay? When I lived here I felt left out and excluded. I played soccer and you never came to one game. But when my brothers had a basketball game you always came. You barely knew me and you barely know me now! I mean look at the sign you made me, you spelled my name wrong by the way. I'm sorry but I'm leaving." Karl said getting up, grabbing his jacket and leaving the house right there. He knew what he did was sort of rude and most people do give their families money but if he didn't enjoy his family he didn't want to reward them for treating him wrong.  

Karl just walked around in the park, which he knew was dangerous because he had got many people who didn't like him. He was walking and found a bench in the park and sat down. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through twitter. He started actual nodding off to sleep as the sun setted. He got woke up by a voice, "Hey are you okay?" a man with hazel brown hair asked. Karl jutted his eyes open, "Yeah I'm fine." Karl said. "Wait Karl? Karl Jacobs?" The man said. Karl smiled but was annoyed that it was just some fan, "Yeah it's me. Sorry you see me in the condition. Do you want a picture?" Karl said. "No, no it's me Sapnap. Don't you remember we went to highschool together." Sapnap said pulling out his phone and showed a picture of him and Karl smiling. Karl freaked out what are the odds he found him. Sapnap was Karl's biggest crush in high school and still thought he looked amazing. They actually kissed once as a joke but Sapnap was of course straight and didn't feel anything. "Oh my gosh Sapnap! Sit, please." Karl said scotting over. "Karl what happened to you? I just remember after you graduated you left in the summer. But now I see you are super successful." Sapnap asked smiling. "Well uh I got a job opportunity back then and I took it. I just never came back because my family are basically gold diggers and super homophobic. And I'm here because they basically just asked for money from me." Karl said. Sapnap and Karl were really close in high school and Sapnap knew that Karl would always be upset how his parents never came to anything he liked. " I'm sorry I know how bad your parents were with anything." Sapnap said. Karl was in awe. Sapnap remembered him so much already. "I mean Sapnap they waited for me in the airport with a sign, but they spelt my name wrong." Karl ranted. Sapnap felt bad. Sapnap did like Karl in high school at one point. But he was known as the player and had many girlfriends and not one boyfriend. And when they kissed as a joke he did feel something but shoved it right down. And when Karl got up and left he sort of felt like he had something to do with it. "I'm sorry Karl about your parents. And I'm also sorry about everything in high school" Sapnap said. "What do you mean. You were my best friend Sapnap you didn't do anything wrong." Karl said confessed. "No for what i did to you. When we kissed that one time and I pretended like it was nothing. I feel like I played with your feelings and I feel like that is one of the reasons you left. I later found that I was gay but when I finally expected it you were gone." Sapnap explained. Karl smiled, "Sapnap you were definitely not the reason I left. I was actually gonna stay just to be with you. But I thought you would just tell me to take the opportunity. I should be sorry that I didn't say goodbye." Karl said smiling and Sapnap smiled back. They looked at each other and gave each other a hug. When Sapnap got an idea, "I was actually heading to the bar, wanna come?". Karl nodded and they walked to the bar holding hands.

 Once they made it to the bar they sat down and ordered some rounds of drinks. They drunk and drunk drinks like crazy. And Karl was a lightweight so he was affected pretty quickly and at this point he was drunk a good bit. "Sapnap?" Karl asked drunkenly. "Yes?" "I just wanna say thank you for taking me out. And also that in high school I really liked you. And I think I like you again right now." Karl said. "Are you saying that because you are drunk or do you mean it? Because if you mean it, I actually liked you in highschool too. And I think I like you too." Sapnap said. "I'm saying this for real Sapnap. But do you like me only because I have money?" Karl asked. "No I promise. I have liked you for your pretty gray eyes, your amazing personality, your pretty smile, you were always nice to everyone you talked to, you make people amazing Karl, really." Sapnap said with a smile and Karl smield back. "Sapnap?" "Yes Karl?" Sapnap said looking straight in his eyes. "Can I kiss you?" Karl asked looking back in his eyes. "Of course you can." Sapnap said. Karl didn't hesitate and crashed his lips to his. They both instantly enjoyed the familiar taste of their long time friends lips. The kiss got deeper as Sapnap licked his tongue against Karl's lips asking for access, Karl accepted. At this point they were messily making out in each others arms. Sapnap broke and started kissing Karl's neck. "Mm wanna come to my house?" Sapnap asked and Karl nodded. 

Once they made it to his house Sapnap closed the door and pushed Karl against the door and kissed him more. They kissed and kissed before Sapnap finally picked him up and carried him upstairs. He pushed Karl on the bed and started kissing up and down on the neck as he was on top of him.

The next morning Karl woke up on Sapnap's chest. Karl actually did remember last night and did not complain. But he was upset that he would only have him for the 2 weeks he was here, but he did get an idea. Sapnap woke up as well with Karl on his chest. "Hey my love." Sapnap said as he saw Karl was still on his bare chest. "Pet names already?" Karl joked. "Well you are my love, but sorry if that is too early." Sapnap said instantly apologizing. "No its not! You have been my love for a while now." Karl said smiling but Sapnap noticed his face dropped. "What's wrong." Sapnap asked. "Sapnap what do you do for a life?" Karl said sort of ignoring the question. "Uh I work in video creation for a company. Why?" Sapnap said confused. "Do you like it? Do you like it here?" "Uh I like video creation but my boss is kind of a asshole. But it pays well." Sapnap said after thinking about it. Karl took a second to think, "I wanna go back to California right now because of my stupid family. I was wondering if you wanna come with me? I can get you a job at   my company if you want. Or you can work somewhere else if you want. I really had fun with you. But I really don't want to take your life away from you. I just don't want to go back to California back alone with nobody." Karl explained. "Karl I would love to go back to California with you! There is nothing really holding me down here." Sapnap asked almost instantly. Karl was shocked but smiled and placed a peck on Sapnap's lips.
